Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaz Fisher.
Hi Chaz, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hey, I’m Chazz — a dancer, artist, and content creator blending movement, music, comedy, and culture into every piece of content I make. My creative journey started young, filming on my mom’s camera with no mic and recording voiceovers on an MP3 player. Over the years, I found my rhythm through drumming, skateboarding for 15 years, and creating videos that reflect the wild mix of who I am.
I began making content seriously while studying at UCF in Florida, where my friends and I gained traction on a now-defunct app called Yeti, combining dance and comedy. That momentum led me to move to Los Angeles about six years ago, where I dove even deeper into the creator world. I eventually co-founded a TikTok group called The Rangers, and we grew from 0 to 3.4 million followers in just four months — collaborating with artists like Lizzo, King Bach, French Montana, and more.
Today, I’m focused on rebuilding my YouTube channel, elevating my dance content, and adding more of my voice and personality to everything I do. In late 2024, I created a dance to Kendrick Lamar’s “Hey Now,” which went viral across TikTok. Around the same time, Tyler, The Creator dropped a remix called I’m That Guy — and I followed up with a new dance for that version, too. The response blew my mind. K-pop groups like ENHYPEN and ILLIT picked it up, along with creators I’ve looked up to for years, like Chachi Gonzales.
This moment reminded me why I do what I do — to connect, inspire, and create something that moves people. I’m stepping into this next chapter with a renewed vision: more dance, more storytelling, and more of me. Whether it’s on TikTok, YouTube, or live-streaming again soon, I’m building a brand rooted in movement, creativity, and authenticity.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. Like many artists, I’ve had to navigate personal loss and family health challenges while still pushing forward creatively. During college, my dad went through multiple health scares that deeply impacted my family. Even after his recovery, life was never quite the same — and his passing in 2024 was one of the hardest moments I’ve ever faced. He was my biggest inspiration when it came to music, and finding the strength to keep creating without him has been a challenge I’m still learning to move through. But I’ve been lucky to have friends during that time helped me while that was happening. Anyone going through a loss, just know you’re not alone and its ok to lean on the people in your corner.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a content creator, dancer, and artist who specializes in short-form storytelling, especially through movement. I was part of a dance group called The Rangerz on TikTok, and during the peak of the pandemic, we grew our page from 0 to 3.4 million followers in just four months. That momentum led to collaborations with artists like French Montana, Lizzo, King Bach, and more.
What I’m most proud of recently are the viral dances I created for Kendrick Lamar’s “Hey Now” and Tyler, The Creator’s remix “I’m That Guy.” Both dances trended globally. Major creators and K-pop stars picked them up, and it was surreal watching something I choreographed reach audiences across the world.
What sets me apart is that I’m not just here for trends. I’m here to build something long-term. I have so much more to share when it comes to my personality, my creative vision, and the stories I want to tell. I genuinely love the process. The filming, the editing, the trial and error, that’s what fuels me. I feel like success naturally follows consistency and passion.
What’s next?
One of the biggest shifts I’m making right now is stepping into streaming. I’m in the process of creating astreaming space where I can combine everything I love including dancing, gaming, and anime. The goal is to create a space that feels like an extension of my personality, where I can be fully myself and connect with people in real time. Whether I’m breaking down a trending dance, reacting to anime clips, or hopping into a game with the community, I want it to feel like you’re hanging out with me, not just watching from a distance.
This next chapter is about showing myself more than just 15 seconds at a time.
Speaking of The official first stream is 7/11/20205 (7 ELEVEn Day) at 7pm PST! After that we’ll be live Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm PST.
