Conversations with Anabel Primiterio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anabel Primiterio.

Hi Anabel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ines Studios Design is a multidisciplinary event design and creative direction studio founded by Ines Anabel Primiterio. With over two decades of artistic development across performing arts, stage design, and immersive environments, the studio approaches each project as a carefully curated experience where story, space, and intention converge.

Rooted in deep research, cultural awareness, and lived experience, Ines Studios Design specializes in translating mission-driven narratives into impactful physical environments. From intimate private dinners to large-scale conferences and brand activations, every design is thoughtfully cultivated to reflect the values, voices, and purpose of those it represents.

Known for its layered storytelling and refined execution, the studio creates spaces that move beyond aesthetics—inviting connection, resonance, and lasting impression. Each moment is designed with precision, care, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think that’s what shaped the foundation of Ines Studios Design. A lot of the journey has been balancing creativity with survival. While building the company, I’m also working full-time in healthcare revenue cycle management, navigating financial setbacks, and learning how to protect and value my work as a creative. I still wear every hat possible: designer, producer, installer, coordinator, marketer, often building large concepts with very limited resources and no hands for the labor needed to execute.

One of the biggest challenges was staying true to the intentionality behind the brand which is what led to our rebrand June of 2025. This also meant, that even as a “smaller” or “newer” company, turning down clients, which isn’t something that is typically recommended when in the building stages because of “lack of work” or ” lack of portfolio building”. But I’ve never wanted Ines Studios Design to create events or productions that simply looked beautiful. I want to create experiences that made people feel something, that reflected identity, storytelling, and human connection. Building a business rooted in meaning rather than trends takes time, patience, and a lot of trust in yourself. Busy seasons are nothing without the intentionality behind my work and fulfillment as an artist.

There are still moments where I question if I how I am building my dream company is the correct way, but every challenge pushed me to become more resourceful, more disciplined, and more confident in my vision. And more importantly, distinct and true in my craft,

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Ines Studios Design is a multidisciplinary event design and creative direction studio rooted in immersive storytelling, intentionality, and human connection. My work centers around translating narratives, identities, and emotions into physical environments that people can truly experience and feel.

I specialize in experiential design for life milestones, brand activations, private dinners, conferences, and curated gatherings that move beyond aesthetics. Every project is approached as its own world with careful attention to story, spatial flow, sensory details, and emotional resonance. Rather than repeating trends or creating one-size-fits-all designs, I focus on developing concepts that feel deeply aligned with the people, communities, or brands they represent.

I think what sets my work apart is the level of intention and cultural depth behind it. My background across performing arts, stage design, and immersive environments has shaped the way I approach space as something living and emotionally impactful rather than simply decorative. I care deeply about creating environments that leave a lasting impression and invite connection, reflection, and presence.

What I’m most proud of is being able to build a studio that stays authentic to those values while continuing to grow. Whether I’m designing an intimate dinner or a large-scale activation, I want people to walk away feeling like they experienced something meaningful, not just something visually beautiful.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
People can collaborate with or support Ines Studios Design by connecting through curated partnerships, brand activations, creative direction opportunities, and experiential events. The studio is always open to working with aligned brands, organizations, artists, and communities that value intentional storytelling and immersive design.
