Conversations with Alicia Lee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Lee.

Alicia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I always knew I wanted to be a mom, and now as a mom of two, I can honestly say motherhood has become the most fulfilling part of my life. After having my daughter, I started creating outfit videos and sharing snippets of our daily life as a way to stay creative and connected to myself during such a life-changing season.

Over time, social media became so much more than just posting videos. It introduced me to an incredible community of moms, many of whom have become close friends in real life. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been seeing our friendships grow alongside our children and watching our kids build friendships with each other too.

One of the biggest reasons I’ve been able to continue growing in this journey is because of my husband, Aaron. From the very beginning, he’s always supported me and encouraged me to just go for it, even during moments when I doubted myself or felt like I/or my content wasn’t good enough. He’s constantly affirming me, reminding me to believe in myself, and encouraging me to keep creating even when I overthink things.

What began as a personal outlet has now become a platform where I can share motherhood, lifestyle, family moments, and the beauty of everyday life in a genuine way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like a lot of moms and creators, I’ve struggled with imposter syndrome throughout different stages of my journey, constantly questioning whether I was doing enough, sharing enough, or measuring up to other creators and moms online.

One of the hardest parts was comparing myself to other moms who were in the exact same season of life as me. Social media can make it so easy to look at someone else’s motherhood journey, routines, content, or accomplishments and feel like you’re falling behind. There were moments where I doubted myself creatively and personally, especially while trying to balance motherhood, content creation, and everyday life.

The funny thing is, I’m truly just a regular mom and a nobody! I never started any of this expecting it to become what it is today. I originally started recording little outfit videos and day-in-my-life moments simply so I could remember this season of life and all the little moments with my kids. I never imagined that a few videos here and there would resonate with so many people or do as well as they did.

As a mom of two now, I’ve learned that every family, every child, and every motherhood journey looks different. Over time, I realized that people connect most with authenticity, not perfection. Letting go of comparison and simply sharing the real moments: the chaos, the joy, the hard days, and the everyday memories, has helped me grow not only as a creator, but as a person and mom too.

One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been the community and friendships I’ve built along the way. I’ve met incredible moms online who truly understand the season of life I’m in, and many of those friendships have become real-life friendships. Watching our kids grow up together while supporting each other through motherhood has honestly been one of the biggest blessings to come from all of this.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I come from a background in hospitality management, and in 2021 I started freelancing in marketing, which allowed me to combine creativity, storytelling, and building connections with people. As I became a mom, my work naturally evolved alongside my life.

Today, I’m known for sharing motherhood moments and lifestyle content that feels relatable and genuine. What sets me apart is that I’m truly just a regular mom sharing things I truly love: getting ready with my daughter, outfit kids with now both of my kids, play dates, etc.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I love connecting with brands and businesses that align naturally with the season of life I’m currently in: motherhood, family, beauty, lifestyle, and everyday routines. Whether it’s through sponsored content, product collaborations, or lifestyle campaigns, I’m passionate about creating content that feels genuine, relatable, and true to my everyday life.

I’m especially drawn to partnerships that feel organic and authentic to both me and my audience. Beyond collaborations, one of the biggest ways people can support me is simply by following along, engaging with my content, and being part of the community we’ve built together. I’m incredibly grateful for every person who connects with and supports my journey through motherhood and content creation.
