Conversations with 4QM SITO

Today we’d like to introduce you to 4QM SITO.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
4QM Sito or simply, Sito, is an influential LA native who embodies the fusion of
raw street culture and the high life. Although the finer things are apart of his
DNA, Sito is determined to cultivate and shine lights on the connection to his
roots in the black experience. His ethos as an artist is defined by authenticity,
unlimited creativity, and a commitment to uplifting his community, by using
his powerful voice to say “There is no better time than Now! to execute”
whether in the world of music, fashion or life. You guys can put this in your own words

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been a roller coaster ride just like most artist starting from the mud. Being from Los angles alone when I first started I faced the challenge of finding my sound in a saturated environment. It’s like they want us to sound like the legends that came before us but if it’s too close it’s copying and not showing homage. LA and New York are the hardest places to make it because the history and the expectations. I had to build my network from nothing and it’s grown to having every resource we need available. I got started late so I had to show why I even belonged in these studios and show my value outside of being an artist.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an artist, photographer, creative director, post production engineer, artist development among other things. I specialize in creating and writing music and editing videos. I’m most proud of my own work I’ve released and a new artist I’m currently working with by the name of Qua5ar out of Bakersfield, Ca. I’m really for the people i genuinely do whatever I can to help my team and fill in the roles needed. I wear many hats and I know my job is to help as many people as possible.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I listen to a lot of motivational speeches to keep my mind going and also tedtalks if I want to switch it up. I’m an athlete I play basketball so I watch a lot of basketball highlights that usually calms me and keeps my mind open to trying new moves.
