Conversations with Ariel Strong

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel Strong.

Hi Ariel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey all started out in a small town wherein from Huntsville, Alabama! I started first doing hair and selling hair at the age of 16 years old, I would say my first breakthrough was selling hair from home on Snapchat and I went viral! And how I got into hair? I mostly grew up around it…in my childhood years my mother worked in a hair salon owned by Ms. Tameka Gibson (owner now of the popular BoldHoldlacewigtape company) and my father was a barber.

I would remember being at the salon watching my mother service clients a lot and it interested me! My parents always caught me messing with my own hair at home they told me back then they would have to steady keep getting on to me about always trying new things in my hair. But ever since being in the hair industry always fascinated me! At the age of 18, I took my first celebrity client (Parker McKenna Posey) childhood star from Nickelodeon’s tv show (My Wife and Kids) and updated show (Games People Play) I have always been determined to be a Celebrity stylist one day! It’s all about growth and Blessings and me observing my own growth Daily also over the years always gives me the push to keep going! The sky is never my set limit! It’s over and beyond! I am a high and powerful believer of myself! Self-motivation is everything!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Definitely not! I have my days, everything isn’t all glitter and gold! From 2016 to 2018/. I dealt with a lot of backlash and bullying over the internet from more so my hometown! I got bashed by people I never knew, rumors were made and I was made fun by people that I never spoke to a day in life! This was so bad I could never go places on my own from threats of someone wanting to do something harmful to me! It started attacking my personal life something farther than my business! I got told so many nasty things that would tear down a human being! But overall, the hardest thing to do was to watch all of that unfold and to ignore it and never respond to the hateful things but I learned to keep striving! Even though I got told I would never be worth it or I would never make it! I took that pain and turned it into a positive and that was the best decision ever made! It taught me a lesson!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Hairstylist/ Hairdresser, but I Call myself a Celebrity Hairstylist! Why? Because I love speaking things into existence! I believe in the Law of attraction so I live as if I already live and have certain things! I specialize is Sew in Extensions, Clip-ins, micro-links, Natural hair and more. What I’m the most proud of is becoming a mother to my beautiful baby girl Nova Nayeli-Amour and as far as business, I’m proud of growing each and everyday! I’m proud of my determination to never give up! I’m proud of striving for the best that I can be! What sets me apart from others? I work hard and never worry about whose my competition! Truth be told, yes! It’s millions of stylists out! But in my vision, I only see myself and that I’m my own competition. I focus on my plate and leave it at that! I always find ways to be creative! With every Human Haired wig I Construct (make) and every Hair Service that I do! And that what I feel makes me stand out! I know I’m different and that’s ok but that makes me who I am!

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My biggest support system is my family and my loyal clients! I always told everyone they will be blessed back in return in some way once I’m where I want to be 💕
