Hi Sabrina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my career as a solo practitioner with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law. Over the years, that passion evolved into a mission to build a law firm dedicated to excellence, integrity, and results.
Through dedication and perseverance, I expanded from a single office to three locations in Pasadena, Santa Ana, and Dallas. Along the way, I became a State Bar of California Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law—a distinction held by less than one percent of attorneys—which reflects my unwavering commitment to this field.
Today, my team and I are proud to represent clients across all areas of immigration law, from family and business immigration to removal defense and appeals. We’ve built a reputation for taking on the most challenging cases—often referred to us by other attorneys—and achieving successful outcomes through meticulous preparation and advocacy.
Beyond my professional practice, I remain deeply involved in the community. I currently serve as Secretary of the Asian Youth Center and as a board member of the Giles-O’Malley Center for Leadership at California State University, Fullerton. I am passionate about advocating for immigrant rights and supporting the development of future leaders.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In the early years, I faced the challenge of doing everything on my own. I wasn’t just an attorney for my clients—I was also my own HR department, accountant, and marketing team. I constantly worried about overspending, so I took on as many cases as I could and worked tirelessly to keep everything running.
Eventually, I realized that true growth required a team. That realization brought a new challenge—finding the right people. It wasn’t easy to identify individuals who not only had the necessary skills but also shared my passion, work ethic, and dedication to client success. Over time, I was fortunate to assemble a team of professionals who embody those same values and commitment.
Thanks to their hard work and shared vision, our firm has achieved incredible growth—recognized as the 15th fastest-growing law firm in the United States by Inc. 5000. Every step of that journey has taught me that growth comes with both risk and reward—and that success is only possible when you surround yourself with the right people.

Any big plans?
As our firm continues to grow, my goal is to further strengthen our presence across the United States while maintaining the same professionalism and commitment to excellence that have defined our success. We are planning to collaborate with law firms in other areas of practice, allowing us to provide more comprehensive support and serve a wider range of clients with diverse legal needs.
We also plan to continue integrating innovative technology and refining our internal systems to deliver even more efficient and accessible services. At the same time, mentorship and leadership development remain central to our mission. I am passionate about empowering the next generation of immigration attorneys and legal professionals—especially women and minorities—by creating opportunities for them to learn, grow, and lead.
Another important focus for the future is expanding our community engagement through outreach programs, educational workshops, and partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to immigrant rights.
Ultimately, my vision is to continue building a firm that not only delivers exceptional legal representation but also makes a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
