Rita, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m the owner of the Kitty Wiggle Collection. My lingerie collection was born from an idea, which I discussed with my daughter. Together, we made it a reality. She introduced me to a friend who had expertise in choosing vendors, and with their help, I carefully selected the styles and colors. I placed a special focus on panties because they played a significant role in helping me feel sexy again during my battle with Endometriosis. Ultimately, my vision was to create a collection that allowed me to embrace my own sensuality.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Launching my lingerie line at the age of 61 has been a truly enjoyable experience. The support I’ve received from both my family and strangers has been overwhelmingly positive. While I anticipate challenges ahead, I choose to remain focused on the positive aspects. I’m fortunate to have a strong support system, and that is crucial to my journey.

Recently, Kitty Wiggle Collection had the opportunity to participate in Essence Festival 2023. Let me share a little background about myself. I’ve always been an outgoing and confident woman, finding joy in laughter and seeing others happy. Earlier this year, I began consistently creating social media content, but it was in March when one of my reels went viral, and since then, I’ve been gaining viral traction. My content mostly revolves around my 42-year marriage and the joy it brings me. I also like to embody different characters, wearing cowboy hats, playing the tambourine, and whatever else comes to mind. This showcases my personality and serves as a unique way to market my lingerie collection. I’ve had the opportunity to be featured on popular platforms like World Star and Black Love. Through my daily endeavors, I aim to inspire people by showing them that their circumstances do not define them. By the way, I have a jingle called “Kitty Wiggle” available on all music platforms. It would be great if you could support me by streaming it on Spotify. I actually created this trending music, and my grandson Dani produced the beat. We’re currently working on new music together, so stay tuned for more updates.

I aim to inspire women worldwide who are battling with Endometriosis and feeling less confident, especially when it comes to their sexual lives.
