While her client list is impressive, Rebecca believes her true work goes far beyond credentials. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has truly been an incredible journey, and I feel deeply blessed to be trusted by so many prominent families, as well as with the lives and careers of the individuals we place. For the most part, the path has been smooth — but as they say, life be life’n.
Over the past twenty years, I’ve faced my share of challenges. I’ve been married and divorced, lost three of my four grandparents, become a mother (the greatest blessing of my life), and battled shingles, pneumonia, and COVID — all while continuing to lead and grow my business and manage an internal team.
When I reflect on it all, I’m filled with gratitude. Gratitude not only for my health and perseverance, but for the privilege of building what has become one of the most respected nanny agencies in California. God has truly blessed me. I count it all joy, because every setback has ultimately been a setup for a comeback.

If I could offer further advice to anyone just starting out, it would be this: build with intention, not urgency. Focus on doing things the right way, even when it takes longer or feels harder. Your reputation will always outlive any quick win.
I also wish I had known earlier how important boundaries are — both personally and professionally. You can care deeply about your work and your clients without carrying everything alone. Learning to delegate, ask for help, and protect your time isn’t a weakness; it’s a necessity for longevity.
There will be seasons where growth feels slow and moments when setbacks feel personal. They’re not — they’re part of the process. Stay rooted in your purpose, remain adaptable, and don’t be afraid to evolve as both a leader and a person.
Most importantly, lead with integrity. When you treat people well, honor your word, and stay aligned with your values, success becomes sustainable. That’s what I wish I had known from the very beginning — and what has ultimately made the journey worthwhile.
