Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Smith.

Hi Michele, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I decided to formulate vegan, all-natural handcrafted hair growth products. I suffered from Lupus and Alopecia hair loss throughout my life. I started making my own handcrafted hair growth oils, hair pomades, shampoo bars, whipped body butter, yoni care, curl creams, and body soap.

I had regrowth within the first few weeks of using my products. I know that every person experiences hair loss differently. Hair loss can result in loss of self-esteem, depression, isolation, and much more. Michele’s Blessed Hands hair treatments have proven growth results. I also started the Miracle Growth Project. I made this my mission to ensure no one stands alone suffering from hair loss. I donate free hair growth products for those who suffer from severe trauma such as third-degree scalp burns, alopecia, and medical and chemo-related hair loss.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This has been an amazing journey. I started my Instagram five years ago. I have the most loyal customers, family, and friends. I also learned that your biggest support comes in the form of strangers. I put my fears behind me and stepped out in faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I began my business in hopes of changing the way people were taught to take care of their hair. I wanted to teach my customers how to care for natural hair without being altered by relaxers, perms, chemical curls, and straighteners. I feel that my brand is different from the other brands because I studied, researched, and tested my products before I sold them. I give free products to post-chemotherapy patients and those who are suffering from Alopecia. I also offer hair growth oil private label wholesale packages. You can sell under your own brand.

How do you think about happiness?
Happiness plays an important role in my life. First and foremost, God brings me the most happiness. I feel blessed to have my family and friends. I know that material items can’t bring happiness. The love that we give to one another, forgiveness, loyalty, trust, love, and faith make me experience the understanding of happiness.
