Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Leitner
Hi Lauren , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For most of my life, I struggled with my weight and my relationship with food. I grew up in a home where body image was everything. Shopping trips felt like an emotional minefield—hearing words “That won’t look good on you” after seeing clothes only on their hangers. It didn’t take long for me to believe my body was something to fix, not celebrate.
That belief shaped everything. I settled for relationships that weren’t kind or loving because, deep down, I didn’t think I deserved better. I kept searching for confidence, convinced it lived on the other side of a smaller dress size.
So I dieted. Again. And again.
Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig (which made me sick), Phen Phen, calorie counting—you name it, I tried it. I kept thinking the next plan would be the one. But none of them lasted. Each time, I ended up feeling like a failure.
Then one day, I had a thought I couldn’t shake: What if the problem isn’t me? What if the problem is dieting itself?
That’s when I found Intuitive Eating—a completely different way of looking at food, health, and my body. It changed everything.
Now, I help women break free from the cycle of dieting and find real, lasting confidence. Not by shrinking themselves, but by learning to trust their bodies again. Because wellness shouldn’t feel like a never-ending chore. It should feel like freedom.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I felt like my body determined my worth, and because I wasn’t thin enough, I wasn’t enough, period. It wasn’t just about weight—it seeped into every area of my life. I held myself back, convinced I couldn’t go after my dreams until I looked a certain way. I felt like I was just getting by, watching my life happen instead of actually living it. I wasn’t present. I wasn’t clear-minded. I was stuck in a loop of self-doubt, exhaustion, and frustration.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Personal Wellness Reimagined, I help career-driven women over 40 break free from chronic dieting and finally feel good in their bodies—without restriction, guilt, or obsessing over every bite.
For years, the wellness industry has made women believe that health is about willpower, discipline, and following the “right” diet. But in reality, most diets fail because they aren’t designed to be sustainable. They leave women feeling frustrated, stuck, and constantly starting over on Monday.
That’s where I come in.
I specialize in Intuitive Eating and sustainable habit change, guiding my clients to rebuild trust with food and their bodies. No more calorie counting, food rules, or punishing workouts. Instead, I teach a practical, realistic approach that prioritizes how you feel over what you weigh.
Unlike traditional weight-loss programs, I don’t offer a one-size-fits-all solution. Every woman’s journey is different, and I meet my clients where they are—helping them shift their mindset, let go of diet culture, and create a healthy lifestyle that actually feels good (and doesn’t take over their life).
I’m most proud of creating a space where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to finally stop dieting for good. Because wellness shouldn’t feel like a chore—it should feel like freedom.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck in the cycle of dieting, emotional eating, and self-judgment, you’re not alone—and there’s a better way. I offer private coaching, group programs, and resources to help you break free and build a lasting, sustainable relationship with food and your body.
Because you deserve to feel good—not just someday, but right now.
I offer 1:1 Coaching, Cooking classes, Corporate Wellness and Membership for a safe and non-judgmental community.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was the kid who always had a million questions—curious, nosy (in the best way), and always wanting to try new things. I loved exploring, whether that meant diving into a new hobby, experimenting in the kitchen, or finding creative ways to entertain myself. I was a free spirit with a silly streak, never afraid to be a little weird or different. Actually, I was extremely picky with food and knew right away about certain foods I didn’t want to eat. ( like meat)
But as I got older, that curiosity and creativity started to take a backseat. The pressure to fit in, to look a certain way, and to follow the “right” path made me second-guess myself. I started playing small, holding back, and feeling like I was just getting by instead of fully living.
That’s a big part of why I do what I do now. I help women reclaim that sense of freedom—the ability to trust themselves, enjoy life, and stop letting food rules or body shame hold them back. Because we all deserve to feel present, confident, and truly alive.
