Today we’d like to introduce you to Ingrid Turner
Hi Ingrid, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ten years ago, I had a spiritual awakening that broke me open and changed my life. At the time, I was working in corporate, solo parenting my little one, stressed, anxious, and drinking way too much, trying to cope with a life that was not making me happy.
The first break happened when I had to admit what I was doing wasn’t working – especially the drinking. Over the next year as I settled into sobriety and started to explore my spirituality again. the rumblings of divine spirit led me to explore many different avenues of spirituality, though I never quite settled on any one thing.
In December 2014, everything changed. I attended a shamanic event in Malibu, and during the ceremony, something dramatic shifted inside me. All of my dormant psychic abilities came online and I “got it” – everything, the whole of creation.
That event ended up blowing up my life. I lost everything and had to start from scratch. But that was okay, because after that awakening, I knew I wasn’t going to do any other work than spiritual work.
I started out a psychic reader (which I still do), and went on to found the Bhava Mission, a digital church with the mission to help as many as we can move from fear to love. One arm our of our church is a school that teaches people how to access their spiritual gifts and take them out into the world. We develop spiritual leaders in all walks of life. All faiths are welcome in our church, and we have a smattering of religions and spiritual perspectives from Christian to New Age to Pagan, and everything in between.
I am also the architect of the Soulmatic Renewal Healing Method, which is somatic-based energy healing that removes trauma and stuck energy from the body without interrupting your life. The result is regaining agency in your life – you become so free and clear when you are not carrying conditioning and trauma.
I am a writer and a poet, with four books published. I founded an online magazine called The Spiritual Anarchist where I regularly share content about spirituality, healing, and creativity.
All of these gifts and my passions culminate in spiritual mentorship for leaders, misfits, and creatives. I work with people who are on the edge and determined to to leave a mark on the world – that their legacy helps move the planet forward in some good way.
Today, I have a base in Culver City, and my husband Brian and I travel the world working on our spiritual projects, ministering to anyone who needs it, and continuing to develop our own spiritual gifts.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship – regardless of business type – is shadow work, and I think spiritual entrepreneurship especially so.
It has been bumpy, but all of it resulted in extraordinary growth for myself, and a sharpening of my leadership abilities and increased compassion for my clients and students.
I’ve had a lot of failures on my journey, from partnerships falling through, bungling big opportunities, bad investments, and the inevitable climb out from poverty as I got my business up and running, not to mention a two year stint where I had to slow way down and recover from burn out (self inflicted, mostly).
As a solo parent, it was intense to start a new business from scratch, let alone a spiritual business that gets a lot of sideways looks, like, you do whaaaa?
That being said, I have had incredible mentors and hired a coach a couple of years ago who helped me do a 180 in my mindset and strategy and fully grow into my potential.
Today, I am absolutely thriving, with confidence in my ability to figure it out, clear on my direction and who I help, with enough flexibility to pivot when I need to.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am a spiritual mentor for leaders, misfits and creatives. I roll all the hats I wear into a powerful package for people who are ready to dismantle their trauma and conditioning without disrupting their lives.
I am a channel, psychic, healer, teacher, writer, poet, traveler.
What sets me apart is the way I empower people I work with to face the things that are scaring them so they can release the pain from their past once and for all and be free to live the life they actually want to live.
We are powerless in our responses to life when we carry trauma and strong conditioning. Remove that, and you access your free will again. I do not judge people for where they are at, but I also empower them to fulfill their highest potential through loving guidance and deep healing. You can learn more about my organization Ingrid H. Additionally, I am the founder of the Bhava Mission, a digital church on a mission to move the planet from fear to love. I run the Spiritual Mission, which is a school to teach people how to develop their psychic and spiritual abilities and leadership skills so they can take those gifts out into the world and do their part in raising the collective consciousness.
What really sets our school apart is we help people to stop giving their power away, and learn to trust their own intuition implicitly. We do this through lots of practice and learning how to differentiate the mind and ego from spirit’s guidance with honest feedback, and not taking it personally.
I’m so proud of our Mission because of it’s inclusiveness. We are a truly non-denominational church, and have all faiths, all walks of life join our Mission, and everyone is speaking the same language – faith. No one judges, and everyone connects and thrives in this community, regardless of their background. It is truly a remarkable spiritual space.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I had a profound intuitive message right before Covid hit – the message was “things are going to be difficult for a while. Stay in faith and you will be rewarded.”
When Covid hit, I knew that’s what the message was for, so I did everything I could to manage my fear, isolation, and confusion and stay rooted in my spiritual practice.
As a result, I saw that even though the pandemic had devastating effects on the population from loss of life, increased fear, and isolation, an immense gift that came out of the pandemic for a lot of people was a renewed commitment to a better life for themselves.
I encountered many who were really able to take stock of their life choices during that isolating period as they came up against their mortality more than ever before. As the pandemic came to a close, I think as a population, we all adjusted our sails to live more aligned with our actual desires and values, and that is one beautiful shift that came through for all of us.
