Palmpring Organic Coconut Mattress was born from a simple belief: people deserve a healthier, more natural place to sleep. After learning about the benefits of natural materials like coconut coir, organic latex, wool, and cotton, we saw an opportunity to offer an alternative to conventional mattresses made with synthetic foams and chemicals.

Building the business wasn’t easy. As a small, family-owned company, we started by educating customers about the benefits of natural sleep products while manufacturing our mattresses locally in Los Angeles. Every mattress is handcrafted with a focus on quality, durability, and sustainability rather than mass production.

Over the years, we’ve grown through word of mouth, repeat customers, and people who genuinely value healthy, chemical-free sleep. We’ve continued to expand our product line while staying true to our mission of creating handcrafted mattresses made from natural materials. It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small businesses, we’ve faced challenges with rising material and shipping costs, increasing competition from large mattress brands, and the constant need to adapt to changes in e-commerce and online marketing. Educating customers about the benefits of natural materials also takes time because many people are unfamiliar with coconut coir and organic latex.

We’ve also experienced unexpected setbacks, including supply chain disruptions and damage to our warehouse during severe storms. While those moments were difficult, they taught us resilience and the importance of staying focused on our mission.

Through every challenge, we’ve continued to prioritize quality, honesty, and customer service over shortcuts. The trust and support of our customers have helped us grow, and every obstacle has made us a stronger company. We believe that building a lasting business is about consistency, continuous learning, and never losing sight of why we started.
