Community Highlights: Meet Anthony Royer of KAZUKI

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Royer

Hi Anthony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my professional journey as an actor in Paris (France) in 2000. I studied acting in the best private and public schools in France. As soon as I arrived in Paris, at the age of 20 yo, I booked an audition, not knowing it was for the biggest video game franchise in the world; the Tomb Raider franchise. I am the actor and stunt behind Kurtis Trent, Lara Croft’s first love, and became quickly a public figure. I continued acting, modeling, but also writing, directing, producing, editing, executive producing, fixing, and photographing for two decades of my life. In 2006 I met up with a talent agent in Beverly Hills, who was interested in sponsoring me. This is how I ended up living in Los Angeles!
In 2018, my entire life crashed, and I was forced to leave Los Angeles. In between the rise of Reality TV, social media, and the COVID-19 pandemic, I chose to retire from the Entertainment industry. I then chose to proceed with my other passions: Fitness, Health & Wellness. I’ve been working as a Holistic Fitness, Health & Wellness Mentor for the past 4 years now, and I love every second of it!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Since birth, it’s been a wild ride!! I moved over 50 times so far. I’ve lived in four different countries, over three different continents (Europe, Africa & America). I’ve been on my own since the age of 19 yo (I’m turning 46 in May), been a nomad ever since my life crashed the first time, back in 2005. In twenty years, I’ve been unhoused many times, and got to start from scratch four times. During the past 25 years, I struggled professionally, financially, and faced so many crisis, especially due to the fact that my parents & younger sister have been fighting for their lives, due to major health issues.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about KAZUKI ?
In May 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis, I created, and launched, KAZUKI online. “Kazuki” translates into “Oneness” In Japanese. It’s the name of my active wear brand, but also the name of my business. The purpose of what I do, is to bring awareness on the Light Workers whom are making a positive impact on humanity, and on Earth, whomever they are, whatever they do. My clothing line is for all the neurodivergent folks out there, for every one who is different in so many ways, for those we call the “Zebras”.

I am a Holistic Fitness, Health & Wellness Expert/Mentor; I hold seven international certifications, and at this time, I work with [solidcore], teaching the most challenging form of Pilates on a megaformer in the USA, at this time, and I also work in collaboration with Quantum Wellness Spa, which opened in DTLA about 3 weeks ago. At Quantum Spa, you’ll find me there as a Wellness Guide, offering breath work, meditation, and mindful movement classes, in an extraordinary space, called The New Earth Room (you gotta see it to believe it!). When it comes down to therapy, I specialize in Ayurveda, Ericksonian Hypnosis, and Energetic Medicines (such as Energy Healing & Quantum Healing).

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I like the most about L.A is the weather/climate, and also its geographic location; within about 4 hours driving distance, you have all the nature you can dream of!
What I like the least is… the crowd, and how crazy expensive it has become.
