Hi Amalia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
A Journey of Resilience, Passion, and Purpose

I was born in Bandar Pahlavi, a breathtaking city along the Caspian Sea in northern Iran. As an Armenian born and raised in Iran, I had the rare gift of growing up in two vibrant cultures. My heart beats with the rhythm of Armenian traditions, but it also holds deep love and connection to Iranian roots, the warmth of its people, the poetry in its language, and the beauty of its land. That rich blend has always been part of who I am.
In 1979, during the revolution, everything changed. Life became uncertain. With two young children—just 8 and 6 years old—and my then-husband, we made the courageous decision to leave Iran and head to the United States, thinking it would only be temporary.
✨ But as history unfolded, it became clear that Iran wasn’t going back to the country we knew.
So, we stayed—and started building a new life.
That’s when something unexpected blossomed: my passion for real estate. Even in the most uncertain moments, there was something deeply grounding about owning property—it felt like planting roots again. In 1987, I became a licensed Real Estate Agent, not only to manage what we had, but to help others find that same sense of belonging and home.
💖 Helping people create a fresh start became my purpose.
Then came a very hard chapter—my divorce from 1990 to 1997. I lost everything I had worked for. But I never lost myself. I always knew I could rise again. So I did. I stood tall, brushed off the pain, and moved forward with even more drive and compassion.
💪 My persistence became my strength.
🌟 My work became my healing.
💫 And serving others became my joy.
I believe in positive energy, and I do my best to stay rooted in it. It’s what carried me through the hardest times—and helped me build a career I absolutely love.
Real estate lights me up. I love negotiating, strategizing, and most of all—making my clients smile when they walk into their dream home. I aim to get them at least 80% of what they want, because real estate is about balance and heart. And when they’re happy—I’m over the moon.
🏡 This career isn’t just a job. It’s my calling.
Today, I’m happily remarried, surrounded by my wonderful kids and grandkids who are the light of my life. I’ve learned that prosperity isn’t just money—it’s love, peace, joy, health, and connection.
I’m also deeply involved in my community, and love giving back through educational, professional, and charitable organizations. Helping others is second nature to me—it’s woven into who I am.
💖 Because in the end, life is about lifting each other up, and celebrating every part of our journey—including the parts that come from two beautiful worlds blended into one.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Looking back, every obstacle has shaped my approach and resilience. What once felt like setbacks — slow seasons, tough negotiations, deals that didn’t close — turned out to be lessons in patience, persistence, and communication. The path hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been deeply fulfilling. Each challenge has strengthened my understanding of both the market and the human side of this business — helping people through what’s often the most significant financial and emotional decision of their lives.
