Check Out Yung Miss’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yung Miss.

Yung, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started out singing in the church choir as a little girl. In middle school, I started experimenting with drum machines. In high school, I began recording original songs and producing instrumentals for artists. Since then, I have been a featured artist and/or producer on hundreds of records.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every journey comes with both forks in the road and obstacles in the way. As an artist, it is important to experience struggles because it adds to your story. I have lost a lot of money along the way, but I have also made alot of money. It is all about balance!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am known for being the Inland Empire’s soultry singer slash femcee lyricist slash turn-up queen. I wear a lot of hats but I do my best to promote the I.E. in everything that I do! I am currently getting into artist management but my goal is to help others while still learning new things for my own career. I think what sets me apart from others in my ability to do multiple things, like throw shows, make beats, sing, rap, etc. People know me for winning Mike’s Hard Lemonade’s 20k contest with the Migos among other accolades.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am very shy and have been my whole life! Most people assume because I am always out and in the spotlight that, I am an extrovert. The truth is that I started performing so I could practice getting over my shyness and showcasing my talent!
