Check Out War On Betty’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to War On Betty.

Hi War on Betty, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
War on Betty is the brain child of Nate Novarro “Cobra Starship” and Kenton Remmey “Silence of You.”

Nate Novarro and I met in 2021. My old band was touring with Armor for sleep and Nate was filing in on drums for them. A couple of years later we teamed up to do something different with heavy music…well not different but our way. We wanted to fuse different genres together based around southern guitar riffs and harsh vocals. We like to call our genre “Trailer Park Disco Metal.”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, yea there have definitely been struggles. Creatively, Nate and I have an incredible dynamic and flow. It’s very beneficial that we are only two guys writing band music but in other areas it has its challenges. Most bands have multiple members so everyone handles different aspects of building the band. They have multiple incomes coming in… we don’t. The flip side of our challenges is that it makes us raise the bar to be more creative to work with what we have and it’s been working in our favor nicely.

We are a wild ass rock band and we are proud of the impression we’ve made in the scene so far. We are true to our music and our fans. What sets us apart from others is our instincts.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
To be authentically us.
