Check Out Justin Gaspaire’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Gaspaire.

Hi justin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into photography has been started later in life. Inspired by my wife giving me boudoir pictures for our first anniversary. I took senior pics with my kid and then started chasing around our grandson with my camera. After that I took a runway photography workshop through FDNW (fashion district northwest). After that i began building experience through trade work and fashion shows.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been wonderful journey with lots of learning curves, lol.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My main focus would be fashion shows and portrait work. I believe focusing on understanding light and how to use it, separates me from others. Understanding kelvin temperature of the light you are using makes a world of a difference. I believe my day job as a service electrician for a lighting company has helped me in this journey. I feel like every time i pick up the camera I shoot better than before and the desire to keep improving has been the key for me. Getting compliments and smiles from people I work with is what I love most.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I have only visited twice but look forward to working trips there soon!
