Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Figueroa.

Hi Justin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Justin Figueroa, I have been in the Bathtub Refinishing industry for the past 5 years, in the trenches, doing the work for several large Bathtub Refinishing Franchises. I have brought on my best friend Shaun and my fiance’ to help with the operations.
I had always dreamed of going out on my own, but running the actual business always seemed daunting, but here we are, we are licensed and taking the plunge. Getting into the systems and process to run a successful business is a full time job, but we are excited to show up everyday. Marketing is everything!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t call it smooth but we are on our way! So many details in setting up the business correctly and legally that a lot technicians over look, or at least i did.
I am well seasoned in the trade of refinishing, i know exactly how to provide the correct an easy experience for clients, but not having the 20 years in business like my competitors, makes it hard for start ups to get going.
So every client who has had faith in us, we make sure to go above and beyond expectations, from prepping jobs, to installations, to the finished product. We are only as good as our last job and only survive if we stick to our word.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Bathtub refinishing is where we started, super similar process for, sinks and countertops. Concrete coatings(flake systems) for garage floors has also been super popular and proud to provide the service.

I love the style from 60’s and 70’s. Iv tried to incorporate that into our branding. Our marketing definitely sets us apart. Inspired by the 60’s and 70’s servicemen uniforms, hunter green and white baseball t shirts and mechanic button ups, we are ready to work, IN STYLE, and extremely proud of it.

We take pride in doing things right. Every job includes proper prep, clean execution, and attention to detail to make sure your finish lasts. Our process is hassle-free, low-mess, and designed to give you results that hold up over time.

As one of the newer companies in the area, we know the pressure’s on — and we welcome it. We show up sharp, stay professional, and treat your home like it’s our own.

The biggest concern people have about refinishing is, ‘Will it really last?’ And we get it. That’s why we use proven materials and solid techniques that deliver results built to last — not just look good for a few weeks.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Great question, i do not have a specific mentor, i communicate with a lot of people online who are positions i want to be in, i really seek out people who have done what i’m trying to do, or at least have the answers for specific questions i have. The main question for a lot of service companies how do i find the people who need my service the most. Joining communities online has been a massive help for me.
