Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Harder.
Hi Jordan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been into sports and fitness — I played lacrosse through college at Pacific Lutheran University. While I was there, I studied Pre-Physical Therapy and Sport Psychology, which really opened my eyes to how much mindset and mental toughness affect performance and long-term results. I learned that it’s not just about lifting heavier or running faster, but about staying consistent and pushing through when it gets tough.
This lead me to Sweat 60, where I am the Head Coach and oversee our Culver City location.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, no. Nothing worth doing is ever smooth, right? There were definitely times when I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it or if I was on the right path. Balancing coaching, managing the gym, and trying to keep myself growing was a challenge. Plus, helping people stay consistent when life gets in the way — that’s hard for everyone, including me sometimes. But those struggles taught me a lot about patience and persistence. They made me better as a coach and as a person because I’ve been through the same ups and downs my clients face.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in small group personal training, focusing on helping people build strength, stay consistent, and push past their limits. What I’m known for is creating a supportive environment where people feel accountable but not pressured — where they actually want to show up and work hard.
What I’m most proud of is seeing people stronger than they though was possible. It’s not about quick fixes or flashy programs — it’s about real progress and building habits that last.
What sets me apart is focusing building strength for life — it’s not just about workouts, but aligning the body, mind, and habits to create real, lasting change. I work to make sure every program we offer is tailored to each person’s unique goals and lifestyle, so it fits into their lives and sticks long term. My passion is helping build a culture at Sweat 60 that supports lifelong health and fitness for everyone who walks through our doors.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice is to be patient and focus on consistency, not perfection. Results don’t happen overnight, and it’s easy to get discouraged when progress feels slow. Show up regularly, trust the process, and don’t be afraid to ask for help or guidance along the way. Finding a coach or community that keeps you accountable can make all the difference. Remember, fitness is a journey, not a quick fix — and the habits you build now will pay off for years to come.
