Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Aka Final Child Akerman.
Jennifer aka Final Child, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born and raised in Sweden, moved to Los Angeles at 18 years old back in 2008 and been here since! Los Angeles is just my home and where I was meant to be. Full time musician, artist singer songwriter, dj and producer with 3 kids! Had unexpectedly twin girls last year after having a son already so there always a party these days haha but I love it!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Managing kids, careers can of course be a lot but I’ve got a great husband and marriage and we’re a wonderful team
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I absolutely love making music, any genre any form. There’s nothing better than connecting and channeling yourself with the “higher power” of creativity and letting it flow. Some days you feel more open than others but when you do it is all worth it. Im a self made artist under the name Final Child (I’m the youngest one in the family) and I write and produce my own music together with some of my best friends! I feel like music becomes most authentic when writing by yourself or with people you know well. I think fans would say Im most known for my unique sound and mix of genres. I’m also now afraid to do what I want to do. Let them see YOU, no one else.
