Check Out Irving Lambert’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Irving Lambert.

Hi Irving, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Queens, New York, but my journey has taken me all over. I moved to Hollywood, Florida, at a young age, then in sixth grade, my family relocated to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where I ended up graduating high school. After that, I moved to Northern Michigan for college, but my path took a different turn when I got into content creation.

While living in Gaylord, Michigan, I started making videos on Vine, and that platform opened my eyes to the possibility of turning my creativity into a career. My first big opportunity came when I landed a brand deal with Microsoft, and that moment changed everything for me. I decided to take a gamble, leave everything behind, and move to Los Angeles to chase my dream.

The journey wasn’t easy—I spent years sleeping in my car, grinding, and figuring out my place in the industry. But through persistence and passion, I’ve been able to work with massive brands and major studios, creating content that reaches audiences worldwide. It’s been a wild ride, but every challenge along the way has been worth it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest struggles was getting people to believe in my vision when I was just starting out—when you’re a nobody, it’s hard to get others to take you seriously. On top of that, moving to LA with no connections and no safety net meant a lot of sacrifices. I spent years sleeping in my car, grinding every day, and figuring out how to make things work.

There were times when I questioned everything, but I kept pushing forward, creating, and proving myself through my work. Over time, as I built a track record, people started paying attention. Now, looking back, those struggles shaped me, and they made every win that much more meaningful.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in Filming and blending pop culture with cinematic storytelling, whether it’s through commercials or narrative films. My work stands out because I take familiar elements—whether from anime, gaming, or internet culture—and elevate them with high-production visuals that resonate with both mainstream audiences and niche communities.

What I’m most proud of is the fact that I’ve earned my place in rooms that most people don’t even get the chance to step into. Coming from nothing, I had to build everything from the ground up, proving myself through my work, creativity, and persistence.

What sets me apart is my ability to create big, high-energy, visually striking projects even with limited resources. I know how to turn an idea into something that feels larger than life, and I’m always pushing to create content that not only entertains but leaves a lasting impact.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice is just start—don’t wait for the “perfect” moment or the “right” resources. You don’t need expensive gear or big connections to create something impactful. Use what you have, learn as you go, and stay consistent.

Also, build real relationships—networking isn’t just about who you know, it’s about who actually respects your work and sees your value. I wish I knew earlier that talent alone isn’t enough; your mindset, work ethic, and persistence matter just as much.

Lastly, bet on yourself. There will be times when no one believes in your vision, and that’s when you have to push the hardest. The people who succeed are the ones who keep going when no one is watching.
