Check Out Daniel Dreszer’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Dreszer.

Hi Daniel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a filmmaker/actor and Entertainment industry enthusiast. I’m originally from Bogota D.C, Colombia where I’ve lived almost all my life until I graduated High school and decided to move to the U.S and obtain my Bachelor of Fine Arts by majoring on Film and Minoring in Business of Arts at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida where I got to learn all the essentials for film directing, producing, cinematography, production design, screenwriting and set assistance. Preparing myself by learning the ins and outs of the entire business model of pre-production, production and post-production. After graduating with 2 short films and 2 honor awards for leadership in Business of Arts and the Presidential Award for production design, I continued my studies through a couple of internships. One serving as a Production Assistant and Directors second hand for Colombias top leading cable network Canal Caracol in Bogota D.C. and the second one serving as a Music Video Editor and Social Media Brand Advertising Assistant for a record label company start-up called VE M Entertainment lead by Verna M. Miles a past Sony Music representative.

A couple of months after moving to Los Angeles I was hired by Insight Global to work for Paramounts free streaming service Pluto TV as a Bilingual Content Analyst. I served by helping translate, edit, advertise and verify Spanish content for many of Paramounts most popular content including shows and films from such companies as BBC, Nickelodeon, MGM, Filmrise and various others. After a year I decided to go back to my true passion of filmmaking and acting and decided to obtain a Master’s Degree in Acting for film at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA. Now I continue pressing my passion through filmmaking and acting on collaborative projects and entertainment events/shows. I have had the pleasure to participate as an actor for both The Learning Channel and Fox Television on reality TV. I’ve also acted for other projects under INE Entertainment and some Youtube shorts for popular names such as actor Dax Flame. I’ve had the pleasure to observe and do so much in the city of Hollywood from meeting celebrities to filming with incredibly talented people, some well-known and others on their way to success; I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity of surround myself with the one thing that has driven my passion since day one, the world of films.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. It’s always a tough journey to leave your home and family behind. Moving away to where your dreams can be achieved is easier said than done, it’s believing in your own self-potential that’s the hard part, it takes courage, a nonstop positive mentality, and a reminder as to why you are sacrificing certain things in your life in order to take a chance. I know it’s not easy to adapt to a completely new culture. The struggles of moving from place to place is not always easy but you learn so much from the people and the work you accomplish.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As an actor and filmmaker, I have done several film school projects and shorts which revolve around mostly comedy and some Dramas, I have an immensive love for the comedic arts and have been perfecting my comedy through these past years only to provide hilarious content for audiences. I love to direct and work with actors just as much as I love to work as An actor with fellow directors, I believe the magic is equal both behind and infant of the camera. How am I unique? My willingness and dedication. The true aspiration and passion I have for Hollywood films is like no other. It has led me to so much, I have accomplished more than I could have ever imagined by the time I was 18 to when I turned 24. I have met people I would have never even dreamed of meeting and have worked and dedicated both my professional and educational work on all branches of filmmaking. The gift of being able to speak Spanish and English fluently has opened several doors to me, from post-production positions to unique roles I have to say the fluency of both of these unique dialects has placed me at an incredible advantage which I am incredibly grateful for.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’ve always been open to the discovery of new connections. It is only through the path of collaboration and connections that you yourself can grow bigger as a filmmaker and in this crazy industry. By reaching out and wanting to create something unique.
