Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Fowler.
Hi Brian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Brian Fowler, owner of All American Party Rentals in Anaheim, California. Our company has been serving Southern California since 1985, but my journey into the rental business came after years of working in the grind of corporate America. I spent most of my professional life in sales, working for companies that ranged from Fortune 500 giants to lean start-ups. I sold other people’s products, hit targets, climbed the ladder — but deep down, something was missing.
I had always carried an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to run my own business, to build something I could take full ownership of. Eventually, I decided to stop ignoring that pull and do something about it. I realized there were thousands of well-run, established businesses out there with aging owners — many of whom had no succession plan and were quietly looking for the right person to take over.
For nearly two years, I immersed myself in the process. I evaluated business listings, studied deal structures, attended acquisition seminars, spoke with brokers, and read everything I could on what makes a business worth buying — and how to grow it once you do. That path eventually led me to All American Party Rentals, and I knew immediately it had all the right ingredients: a solid reputation, long-standing customer relationships, and real room to modernize and grow.
Since taking over, I’ve focused on upgrading our operations — implementing rental software, revamping customer communication, improving logistics, investing in branding, and hiring great people. My goal has been to blend the company’s traditional family-owned values with professional-grade service and scalable systems.
It’s been incredibly rewarding to take something with a strong legacy and breathe new energy into it. And we’re just getting started.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not completely. It takes time to build trust with employees. Implementing new systems and processes is never a straight line and can be challenging but when you keep the overall mission front and center, discipline allows you to persevere, even when the going gets tough because you know overall you are doing right by the company and putting it on the best path forward to success.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Today, I’m the proud owner of All American Party Rentals, a family-run business in Anaheim, California that has been serving the region since 1985. We specialize in high-quality event rentals, including tents, tables, chairs, linens, flooring, and more — supporting everything from backyard parties to large corporate functions and weddings.
What sets me apart professionally is the ability to merge big-business discipline with small-business heart. I specialize in identifying operational inefficiencies, implementing scalable systems, and delivering exceptional customer service. At All American Party Rentals, I’ve modernized many aspects of the business — from inventory management and logistics to branding and communication — while preserving the personal, dependable experience our customers have relied on for decades.
I’m known for my hands-on leadership style, vision and strategic execution, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement. I’ve also embraced automation and digital tools — even training AI to assist with customer service — to ensure we operate as efficiently and responsively as possible.
What I’m most proud of is taking a legacy business and reinvigorating it for the next generation. I didn’t start All American Party Rentals, but I’m passionate about growing it with the same care, integrity, and entrepreneurial energy as if I had.
At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to make events easier, smoother, and more memorable for our customers — with quality products, dependable service, and a team that treats every event like it matters, because it does.
