Check Out Alba Esqueda’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alba Esqueda.

Hi Alba, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started to craft around 2015 and started my Etsy shop then. I continued with my work and started to add more and more. I recently added permanent jewelry to my business and I has taken off more than expected. All in the same time being a full-time medical office manager (13+ years). with a 20-year-old and a 5-year-old to handle.

I was also recently diagnosed with MS and it has taken a toll on me but hasn’t stopped me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My multiple sclerosis. When I get flare-ups I do have to close my shops up! and be in the hospital for weeks at a time.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have been a medical assistant for over 15 years and have managed my current office for 13 years.

Most proud of is being a mother. A mother since the age of 16.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
It’s okay to ask for help.
