Hi Azalia, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Music, hiking, biking

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Our “brand” as such, is “Instant Joy.”
In an ever increasing hostile world, it is important to find our escape route… going into nature and finding what brings you joy is an essential part of each and every day.
A forever mantra.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Most definitely my husband Dan, who always celebrates my artistic achievements.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Things will get better as the experiences, however brutal, can make you wiser.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Rep Jamie Raskin of Maryland is the first person who comes to mind. One of our most intelligent and profound political figures. Not only is he fighting for a better world in the political realm, but he’s also a champion of the arts and a deeply wonderful humanitarian.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
Definitely when I’m on a beautiful hike or a long bike ride. The intoxicating and essential feeling of true freedom is the best way to find your inner peace.
