Art & Life with Gali Kroup

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gali Kroup .

Gali, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I was born in Israel. As a mandatory service, I served two years at the Air Force. I graduated from Engineering school and worked in High tech for many years. Despite this boring journey, ever since I remember myself I made people laugh but never thought that, one day, it would become a career.   After surviving a terror attack during my visit back home, I needed help. I quickly realized that by helping others, I actually help myself. That was the beginning of my new journey in comedy. Making people laugh helped me recover and I found it emotionally rewarding. Twelve years later, now I’m a National stand up comedian, entertaining crowds all over the US and outside of.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I’m a stand-up comedian. I make people laugh. It’s a lot of work, get very simple. I hope to inspire people and empower women in particular. My life was never easy, yet I find humor in everything. I think laughter helps everyone cope with life and difficulties we all experience.

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
My Advice to other artists would be: take the time to find your voice, your message to the world, your purpose in this funny industry. We are all unique and the deeper we dig inside us, the better we become as an artist. Be valuable, stay authentic, be you, be different, take risks, live the moment, connect with people. I wish I’ve learned all that at an earlier stage, but it’s a journey we have to go through and enjoy.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
I perform all over the US, but I’m based in Los Angeles so people can catch my shows locally. Following me on social media can help me create content that appeals to a large audience.
