We’re looking forward to introducing you to Sydney Kramer. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Sydney, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me is getting up and having a cup or two of coffee while having breakfast. Then depends on my work schedule I go to the gym for a good work out and then go on with my day. When I go on with my day its usually going to work at one of my brand ambassador jobs or going to work on set whenever possible. During the weekends, I usually like to go out to brunch or dinner or simply spend time with friends or family and usually I try to scout a new restaurant or go to some local favorites of mine.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
When I moved to Los Angeles eight years ago trying to pursue a career in entertainment, I felt lost and didn’t exactly know where to start. But over the first year I took up various jobs before starting in background acting and production assistant work on various sets. Then I started doing casting assistant/ research work to get my foot in casting. I wish I could say its been an easy journey. But that is far from the truth, it truly was hard and sometimes grueling. Yet rewarding in some way. I got to work on sets and events you wouldn’t believe and I got to see what it took to bring a project to life. Yet the writers actors strike made me take a hard look of the direction I wanted to go in. So in 2024 I started getting into brand ambassador work and it turns out I found a new love while maintaining my first love which is entertainment. From there on I worked as a brand ambassador for various different companies including Besa Mi Vino wine, Nature Fynd, Bahamii, Smash Kitchen, and many more. Sometimes if you still want to make your dreams come true, you have to create various paths in order to help get to where you want in life and get you on the path you want.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
When I was a child I started writing children’s books to feel good about myself. Little did I know the doors it would open for me and the impact it would have on my life. My books were called Cookie Dalmarian Mysteries and I went on to self publish five books. From my books, I appeared in newspapers, books, radio interviews, and a local talk show in Tucson. Who knew when 10 year old me started writing it would lead me to bigger moments.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that everything is going to be okay, everything is going to work out, everything will happen when its supposed to happen and when the bad times happen it’s only because the best is about to happen.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
What I believe is true but cannot prove is that everything you want in life will happen when its supposed to happen. Maybe it might not happen right away but it’ll happen on its own time and when you’re ready for it.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
The most peace I feel is when im working out or baking. Whenever I’m at the gym it helps me blows of steam and takes me away from whatever I feel stressed or scared about at the moment. Whenever I’m in the moment of working out, I get lost in my own world of my Playlist and feeling the urge to work through whatever im feeling down or scared about. So overall the gym is one of my happy and peaceful places. Whenever I bake in my kitchen, it helps me be creative in a different way and gets me to create new recipes. And when it comes to get together with family or friends, it gives me an excuse to bake and show off what I’ve created or taken on. You can even see what I bake on my social media.
