An Inspired Chat with Samira GRADY of Vegas & Los Angeles

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Samira GRADY. Check out our conversation below.

Samira, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I find that connecting with my community and learning is bring me joy right now. So much so, that I started a Reading Club. I call it “the Reading Club”

I started a discord channel where we can discuss the book and different ideas and connect locally and virtually!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Samira Grady — a runway model, wellness creator, philanthropist, and community-builder who loves bringing people together. I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, inspired, and connected, whether that’s through my Signature Social Club events, creative workshops, or the book club that unexpectedly turned into a whole movement. I genuinely believe that community is a form of healing, so everything I do is rooted in outreach, encouragement, and giving people a place to grow.

My brand blends wellness, creativity, fashion, and real-life storytelling. I share my journey honestly — the glow-ups, the challenges, the discoveries — because I want people to feel like transformation is possible for them too. From my published features to my ebooks and lifestyle content, my mission is to uplift, educate, and empower. I’m currently expanding my platform, building bigger community experiences, and stepping more into my role as a public figure dedicated to impact, connection, and authentic self-expression.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Like many children I was teased growing up. I was very thin for a long time and no one would let me forget it. I remember even a middle school teacher called me and my friend “the bulimic twins”. That was probably one of the most painful critiques as a child being called bulimic by a 40 year old woman.

It is safe to say that for many years I struggled with my self image. I thought I was extremely unattractive because of how skinny I was. I used to wear oversized clothing and absolutely never wore shorts because I was extremely self-conscious.

It wasn’t until I become 17 years old when I randomly decided to stop being imprisoned by peoples opinion. That’s where my self love journey began. It took many years to get to the point of becoming a.model and comfortable in front of a camera, but I did it.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could speak to my younger self I would say that all those tears weren’t in vein. Your dream does come true, you will find love and healing. Don’t be so hard on yourself because your so much further than what you realize.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
I protect my faith at all costs! My personal faith has been my foundation and rock this whole time. If I didn’t have something to believe in bigger than myselfninwould have given up a long time ago. Butni not only believe, I have also seen the power faith holds. My faith is my most prized possession because I know that as long as I have it I can rebuild again.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
Most people see me and when I post my accomplishments as a flex. Most people think I am stuck up and full of myself and that couldn’t be further from the truth. My confidence come from my relationship with my God. I know I am protected so approach situations differently and maybe more aggressively than someone who’s unsure. I know that I would not be able to accomplish most of the things I have without my faith! And I try to remind people ofnthat every chance I get. I don’t don’t hinge for clout or money, I genuinely want to make the world a better place.
