Nasim, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. Let’s jump in with a fun one: When was the last time you felt true joy?
The last time I felt true joy was seeing a room full of strangers at one of my paint events laughing, connecting, and creating like old friends.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Nasim, an artist and host who’s been running Paint Events since 2020. I create fun, welcoming spaces where people can relax, explore their creativity, and connect with others—no experience needed. For me, it’s not just about painting a picture, it’s about creating memorable moments filled with laughter, color, and community.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that strives for perfection in every brushstroke—because I’ve learned the magic happens when I let go and simply enjoy the process.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me resilience and empathy—how to find beauty in the mess, and how to truly connect with others through shared vulnerability.

Yes—the public version of me is real, but it’s the most colorful layer. The quieter, more reflective strokes are there too; they just show up when the canvas of life feels a little less crowded.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think people might mistake my work as being just about painting, when in truth my legacy is about creating spaces where people feel seen, connected, and inspired far beyond the canvas.
