Kelly, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Daily swims in the Santa Monica Bay and trips to Catalina on my boat Vacilando.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a photographer specializing in lifestyle advertising, resorts and and resort wear. I also sell fine-art prints and I lead instructional photo safaris. Next destinations are Italy, Kenya and Tanzania.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Getting on a plane when I was 21 with a one way ticket to Italy. Stayed 5 months.

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
HA, to work much harder.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Philosophy may be for anther interview but the public version of me is real.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing? 
Well, there’s always another place to go but I’ve done the most I can with the cards I’ve been dealt.
