We recently had the chance to connect with Eugeniia Gul and have shared our conversation below.
Eugeniia, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building that nobody sees is the foundation behind everything I do. My course, retreats, books, and workshops are only the visible part. What people don’t always see is the years of inner work, research, and resilience that shaped me into someone who can actually hold space for transformation. I built a system that helps women not only dream but take action. It’s not flashy, but it’s the structure, discipline, and constant refining that allow me to guide others in a real and lasting way. That invisible work is what makes the visible results so powerful.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Eugeniia Gul, and I’m the founder of EG Empowerment a platform where I help women transform their lives through books, workshops, and retreats. With a background in psychology, politics, and leadership, I bring a unique blend of science, strategy, and creativity into personal growth. What makes my work unique is that it’s not just theory it’s real tools and experiences that help women step into their confidence, find their voice, and create the life they want. I launch my signature course four times a year and I’m hosting special workshops, and retreats to celebrate connection and growth. You are invited!
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people is often unspoken pain when we don’t feel seen, heard, or valued. Miscommunication, judgment, or unhealed wounds can create walls between even the closest relationships. What restores them is presence and love the courage to listen without defending, to forgive without holding score, and to show up as your most authentic self. I believe bonds are rebuilt when we choose understanding over ego, compassion over pride, and when we remember that connection is always more powerful than separation.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain and started using it as power when I began my therapy journey back in 2014. That was the first time I allowed myself to truly look inward, to face what hurt, and to understand that healing could also be a source of strength. Over time, I realized that my own transformation wasn’t just about me it was about how I could help others. In 2018, I started working with women, and that was a turning point. I began turning my lessons into tools, my wounds into wisdom, and my journey into guidance for others. Pain became not something to hide, but a resource I could use to create connection, empowerment, and change.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m deeply committed to empowering women through transformation whether it’s with my book LOVEBOOK, my retreats, or my courses. For me, this isn’t a short-term project; it’s a lifelong mission. I believe that no matter how long it takes, creating safe spaces for women to heal, grow, and step into their power will always be my calling. I’ll keep building it, one woman, one story, one breakthrough at a time.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I understand deeply that pain is not the end of us it can be the beginning. Most people try to avoid or hide their struggles, but I’ve learned that when we face them, heal them, and even share them, they become our greatest source of strength. That’s why I turned my own pain into a path, and now I help other women do the same through my courses, retreats, and workshops.
