Check Out Attiken Vega’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Attiken Vega

Hi Attiken, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Thank you so much for having me – it truly means a lot. My journey began when I first picked up a camera at the age of 8. By 15, my passion for photography hit an all-time high as I spent my days exploring the streets of LA, camera in hand while skating with friends and capturing the world around me. Those early experiences shaped my love for storytelling and creativity through portraiture, exploration, and skateboarding.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The path of photography is rarely a smooth one, and I’ve faced my share of doubts, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty about where I’m meant to be. Like many artists, I often reflect on my growth and the direction I want to take next. One of the biggest challenges has been finding opportunities that truly align with my style and vision, but those challenges have shaped me and pushed me to keep evolving as a photographer.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart as a photographer is my ability to infuse a sense of adventure into everything I create. Whether it’s skateboarding, exploring, or capturing portraits, my work reflects who I am – a photographer driven by curiosity and connection.

Combining these elements has become my signature, and I take pride in staying true to that vision. I specialize in both photo and video, and I’m especially proud of the passion projects I’ve brought to life – ones that challenged me but were deeply rewarding to accomplish. Today, I focus on experimental projects blending fashion, skate culture, and storytelling.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My journey wouldn’t have been possible without the support of relationships I’ve built over time. My family encouraged my creativity from the start, my mentors inspired and guided me, and my friends shared the adventures that shaped my style. Each of them played a crucial role in helping me find my path.
