Today we’d like to introduce you to Alberto Crane
Hi Alberto, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Alberto Crane I have been dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 30 years.
I found Jiu-Jitsu as a teenager and decided to go all in and move to Brazil to learn from the source and dedicate myself
to being one of the best.
After I receiving my Black Belt in Brazil from Draculino and Carlos Gracie Jr. I decided to fight Mixed Martial Arts. I had a professional career fighting around the world including stints in the UFC.
But what I am most proud of is teaching and giving back to our students and community, helping others with something that his given me so much. The end of this year marks 25 years of our gym Legacy BJJ and it’s something I am very proud of and grateful for.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In competing and fighting there are always set backs and challenges. Losing and injuries is part of the process. Going thru those things made me tough and resilient which has given me the tools for success in business and life!

The name of our business is Legacy Burbank. With locations in Glendale, Pasadena and growing! We offer world class Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing as well as “The World’s Smartest Workout TACFIT. We are known for an amazing family friendly culture, elite level training and our amazing community. I am most proud of the high quality students we have and inviting environment. What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I think our industry will only be growing. We all need community and what we do is much more then just martial arts training. I believe as long there are humans, we will be around.
