Today we’d like to introduce you to Nehemiah Clark
Hi Nehemiah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Sure, here’s a possible response you can personalize and adjust:
From an early age, I’ve always had a passion for creative expression, and that’s shaped the journey I’m on today. I got my first taste of the entertainment industry at just 19 when I was cast on MTV’s The Real World. That experience opened the door to a whole new world, eventually leading to seven seasons of The Challenge, where I got to push my limits both physically and mentally. My time on reality TV taught me the value of embracing every opportunity and keeping a strong mindset, even when things get tough.
In parallel, I pursued other passions. I developed a deep love for music, producing and DJing, especially in the tech house scene. As a DJ, I’ve worked hard to hone my skills, performing at events and collaborating with other artists. I’m still building my brand in that space, aiming to travel and bring my sound to a global audience.
Another significant part of my journey has been focusing on wellness and spirituality. I became a certified yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner, blending my knowledge of meditation, breath work, and sound healing into unique experiences for people. Now, I’m building a platform where I can combine music and healing, creating tracks and live sessions geared toward wellness.
I’m driven to inspire others by sharing the lessons I’ve learned through reality TV, music, and spirituality. It’s been a wild ride, but each experience has shaped who I am and where I’m headed. My goal is to keep pushing forward, growing as a creator, and building a community around healing house music and mindful living.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Growing up, I faced some unique challenges. My mother was a recovering addict, and from the age of 5 to 13, I was raised by my grandmother. She provided me with as much stability as she could, but life still felt uncertain at times. When I was 13, I moved in with my aunt, and that period of my life came with its own set of challenges.
At 17, I made a bold decision to move out on my own to Arizona, a place I had never been and where I didn’t know a single person. It was a leap of faith that pushed me to grow quickly.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Absolutely, here’s a response you can consider:
I wear quite a few hats, and I love how my work allows me to bring my passions together in unique ways. As a music producer and DJ, I specialize in tech house with a focus on creating high-energy, captivating sets that connect with people on the dance floor. I’m also known for my background on reality TV, with multiple seasons of MTV’s The Real World and The Challenge, where I learned to embrace competition and thrive under pressure.
Beyond the entertainment world, I’m a certified yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner, combining music and wellness in a way that’s authentic to who I am. I’ve created experiences that incorporate sound healing, meditation, and breath work, making wellness accessible and impactful for people who are seeking a deeper connection to themselves.
What sets me apart is this combination of high-energy performance and deep spiritual work. I’m constantly blending my skills in music and healing to create something that’s both entertaining and meaningful. For example, I’m working on tracks specifically designed for healing, using sound as a tool for emotional and physical well-being.
I’m most proud of how I’ve managed to turn my personal struggles into a platform for helping others. Coming from a background filled with challenges, I’ve channeled that energy into inspiring others and creating content that uplifts and empowers. It’s about using my journey to make an impact, whether through music, wellness, or sharing my story.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see this idustry continue to go independent. I think bigger brands will be looking for creatives to tell their story and the industry standard will continue to change
