Inspiring Conversations with Yui Ueno of Re/Max Estate Properties – Yui Ueno Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yui Ueno

Hi Yui, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in Tianjin, a big city in mainland China. When I was 10 years old, I went to Japan with my family because of my father’s job and grew up in Japan. That’s why I can speak both Mandarin and Japanese very fluently. (English is my third language.)

In 2013, I followed my husband’s work to LA. After we purchased our first home in Torrance, it was exciting to see how the property was appreciated. (The real estate market in Japan is totally different.) This fact encouraged me to get a California real estate license myself. Helping others (especially Japanese people & Chinese people who live in LA) build their wealth through buying and selling real estate is a very exciting job for me.

My business is not run on a 9-5 basis, it is pretty much a whenever my eyes are open business. Because I fully understand that buying or selling a home is a major decision for clients that can be filled with apprehension and concerns, my job is to help clients find the right home that meets their needs and to make the home-buying or home-selling process efficient, stress-free, and successful.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Getting the license part was smooth, but building my business from zero and finding my own clients was very challenging. Working in the real estate industry, there is no paycheck at all. It’s 100% commission business. I have to connect with the clients, get trust, and do my best to serve them with professionalism. It IS definitely hard, but I think that’s one of the reasons why I like this job. I still improve my service every day to serve my clients better.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
A home is one of the biggest investments you’ll make in your life. Whether you’re buying or selling, there’s no doubt that it’s an investment that will lead to a prosperous future. Helping you achieve that prosperous future is my greatest joy and mission.

Buying or selling a home is a major transaction, and I understand that it can be filled with anxiety, especially if it’s your first time. I strive to provide you with a comprehensive overview, including an understanding of the current Los Angeles real estate market, buying and selling strategies, processes, costs, and even the behind-the-scenes details. My goal is to “simplify the complex process” and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand.

I prioritize quick responses and sincere communication. I am also fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, so you can trust me to handle negotiations in various situations with confidence.

The brokerage I am affiliated with, RE/MAX Estate Properties, has 15 offices throughout Los Angeles, with attorneys specializing in real estate law on staff. Since 2010, we have consistently achieved the highest sales volume in the South Bay area every year. Utilizing the RE/MAX Estate Properties network is a significant benefit.

Recently I have been providing informative information in Japanese mainly on YouTube and Instagram.

Please feel free to contact me, either in Japanese/Chinese/or English:)
