Today we’d like to introduce you to Linda Wright
Hi Linda, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As a teenager, I always dreamed about coming to Hollywood and making movies. Unfortunately, no one in my life supported my dreams and so they died. Many years later, that dream resurrected itself with a deeper passion that I had ever felt before. So, I packed up my life from Boston and traveled across our great country to Los Angeles and I have never looked back. I’m right where I’m supposed to be.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road is never smooth for any artist unless you have a relative in the business. LOL. But those bumpy roads are what makes us or breaks us – certainly they teach us! Some of those struggles are finding work, paying rent, competition and the list goes on and on. But, if you know that you know that you know you are MEANT for this business, then patience will have her way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an award-winning writer/producer/director. I have also ghost-written a few scripts where the others have gone on to win their own awards. I really love script consulting with other writers and helping their material be the best it can be. Over the years, besides my own writing, that is the most satisfying.
What makes you happy?
Top Gun! LOL. Because I love all things aviation and especially fighter jets. I find them magnificent to watch and study. Besides that going to the gym because self-care is very important regardless of your career. Lastly, hanging with my grandkids.
