Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Hall
Hi Chelsea, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
So, I am actually located in Norcal. Sacramento to be exact. I have always been a more creative person.. I won’t lie, I have struggled finding a career that best suits ME.
Beauty has always been a passion of mine, I enrolled in the Esthetics program at Paul Mitchell, (I believe in 2017). In the earlier months of 2019 I graduated from Beauty School and got my license.
This was a HUGE accomplishment for me at the time, I felt hopeless in my mid-twenties that I wouldn’t find a job that I loved. So, I immediately went to work!
With no clientele, I began renting from a local salon and used Instagram to promote myself. I also got a part time job as a lead esthetician at a local spa. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit right when I started to build, that, however didn’t discourage me, I kept at it and did what I could to stay afloat.
People NEEDED something to look forward to in these unpredictable times. I created a spa at home and worked when we are allowed to have human contact again. October of 2021 I relocated from my home in Roseville, CA back to Sacramento in this super, cute Orange Victorian where I still currently practice.
Though, I’m not located down south, I do recommend anyone to reach out if you are in town or even if you have questions regarding skincare, I am happy to help!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been different obstacles throughout my journey. I think in general, growing as a person was a big struggle. This is something we could all relate to. I didn’t fully find myself until I hit 30, so in the time of starting up my cute, small business I had a lot to learn about not only myself, but the industry as well as having a business of my own. This is what inspired the name “Honey Bloom”. I often viewed myself as a late bloomer mentally and spiritually.
Of course there were external conflict such as Covid, because I was just starting out at the time it didn’t effect me too bad as I was in the beginning of building my practice, and it didn’t phase me either. I look at any challenge as a positive thing, it stimulates growth!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Beautician, specializing in esthetics. I perform relaxing facials, tailored to your skin’s needs, acid peels, enzyme peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, facial waxing, and I’ll help you get your dream brows.
What I am most proud of is being able to help you see how beautiful you are!
I think what sets me apart from others in the industry is the way I view my clients, I have this understanding of where you are coming from, what you are looking for, and can provide you with that boost of confidence that you need to feel comfortable with being yourself. I want you to see the absolute magic you carry and hope that my clients will leave with an internal glow.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
