Rising Stars: Meet Jason Mitchiner of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Mitchiner

Hi Jason, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Full Moon Rising: Based On A True Story, is the final chapter of my first trilogy. It is historical fiction based on my ancestors during the San Francisco gold rush and Civil War era. Full Moon Rising tells the story of three poor boys in Georgia who set out to find fortune. As a child, I was denied by my birth father, constantly moved around the U.S. and Germany, living in motor homes, and motels. At 14, my birth mother abandoned me in Germany, and by 16 I was a ward of the state of New Jersey and ended up in Foster Care. Everything I have experienced my whole life; I pour back into the characters in my books.

I sent my first book to all the large publishers and literary agents and was rejected by everyone. I was finally published by a Print-On-Demand company through Amazon, but all the promotion and marketing fell directly on me, the Author. I have less than a .1% chance of making it in mainstream literary world. This is a true, David and Goliath story. I came up with the “Naked Author” branding on social media on January 1st, 2007 where I would share clips promoting my first book walking around Times Square, NYC.

Over the COVID pandemic, I did DNA research and found out I am a paternal descendant of Robert “The Bruce” King of Scots, and a maternal descendant of the Scottish Clan Galbraith. I started writing my 10th book, which will be part of my second trilogy that will connect to my first trilogy, based on my ancestors during medieval times. I have branded myself for twenty years (in my books and online), as the Greatest Author of My Generation, #GAOMG. I am utilizing all technology in the 21st century to defeat traditional publishing like a Random House through nontraditional methods such as self-publishing through Amazon, promoting through social media and using AI to create engaging videos for my books entice readers.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, I was abandoned, abused, and ended up in Foster Care in my childhood.
I was rejected by everyone in the literary world with my first trilogy.
I lost everything during the Great Recession of ’08-’09, lost my $100k sales job, lost my son, lost a woman I loved, lost my house, lost my cars, lost my boat, lost my cat, and I got Stage 4 Cancer, nearly died. Then, I defeated cancer, finished my first trilogy, and won my MMA fight by knock out.
Then lost everything during Covid Pandemic, I lost my $100k job from Realtor.com while Rupert Murdoch made record profits with his company, I had my passport and driver license suspended because I couldn’t pay child support after losing my job, and had to explain to the judge why Rupert Murdoch fired everyone at Realtor during covid. I nearly died from Afib and ran LA Marathon with Afib, knowing I could die, running the marathon with my 10th book, 2nd trilogy in my ancestral Galbraith Kilt.
Then I won $1.47 million dollars for everyone fired by Rupert Murdoch at Realtor.com like Robin Hood, and I had 2 heart surgeries and fixed my heart. Now I am finishing my 2nd trilogy. Going to Scotland with my 10th book, 2nd trilogy, and offer it at the Stone of Destiny to the spirit of the Greatest Warrior and King Scotland has ever known, Robert “The Bruce”, my Paternal ancestor.

All of my work has been recorded and documented on Youtube, Instagram, and written about on Amazon, for nearly twenty years.

Greatest times of difficulty create greatest people of the times.
My generation is the greatest generation of the 21st century and I am the Greatest Author of My Generation.
I have used all 21st century technology, from Print-On-Demand technology, which allows my books to be sold on Amazon, one book at a time, instead of through a traditional publishing house, like a Random House. As well as using 21st century technology like Social Media to promote my books and my brand as an author, instead of old, fragmented, dying, traditional print, radio, and tv media. To utilizing the latest 21st century medical technology in Atrial Fibrillation Ablation to keep this author’s heart beating to write more books, well into the late 21st century. All of these factors combined together, make me the Greatest Author of My Generation. Not just one thing, it’s utilizing all of 21st century’s technology to publish my books, promote my books, and stay alive to continue to write my books.

My book, That’s all HE wrote, you can follow my story, coming up with my idea of branding myself, “Naked Author” and watching my clips on Youtube, jumping out of airplanes with my book promoting my books, surfing in WSL contest with my book on my surfboard promoting my books, and going on reality TV shows like, Millionaire Matchmaker promoting my books.

Everything I have ever done has all been recorded and documented online, on tv, in traditional media, and in my books on Amazon.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Authors writing there own books are a dying breed.
AI will be doing all the writing in future books.
Just like other writers wrote the ending of George R.R. Martin’s, Game of Thrones.(That nobody liked).
AI, with machine learning, will write books in the future, in the style and voice of authors like, George R.R. Martin, Stephen King, and other great authors, long after they pass away, for readers to enjoy, that were all written by AI and not human authors.
That is what makes my books that I have written and my trilogies so special, that can never be duplicated by any AI machine learning.
My trilogies can not be copied by AI, because I am writing about my ancestors and my DNA connects my trilogies. AI doesn’t have Robert “The Bruce” King of Scots Y-DNA or Clan Galbraith DNA to connect stories. My ancestors were real, their DNA is real, I am real, my DNA is real, and all of my writing is real and not done through AI. AI doesn’t have parents that abandoned and abused it, AI never lost their son, and AI never lost loved ones that it can pour back into their writing. Only a human author can do what I have done, what AI can never do. What I have done with my trilogies is a twenty year, “Coming of Age” story, as I find out who I am through DNA with my ancestors, I have been writing my stories about it all in my books. No author, has, is, or will, ever be able to duplicate what I have accomplished as, Naked Author, Jason William Mitchiner Galbraith, Greatest Author of My Generation, #GAOMG
