Opening an art gallery was a natural progression for me, stemming from my experience in interior design and working with clients who wanted custom art pieces that reflected their personalities and interiors. I discovered that many people struggled to find art that truly resonated with them and their unique tastes. This led me to realize that art is not just a luxury, but an essential part of our lives that everyone deserves to have access to.

I wanted to create a space where people could discover and appreciate great art, regardless of their level of investment.
Moreover, I recognized the potential of technology in the art world, particularly with the emergence of NFT’s (non-fungible tokens) and digital art. I wanted to bridge the gap between physical and digital art, creating a hybrid approach that would give people a better understanding of the value of both and appreciate the potential for innovation in the art world.

In summary, I opened an art gallery because I wanted to create a space where people could discover and appreciate great art, regardless of their level of investment, and to bridge the gap between physical and digital art. I wanted to demystify the art world and encourage a wider appreciation of art in all its forms.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like any entrepreneurial journey, the road hasn’t always been smooth. Building Oditto Gallery from the ground up came with its fair share of challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was establishing credibility in a highly competitive art market. Convincing top-tier artists and collectors to work with a new gallery required a lot of persistence and relationship-building. Additionally, navigating the complexities of running a business, from securing the right location to managing finances, presented its own set of obstacles. However, these challenges have been instrumental in shaping the gallery’s unique identity and resilience.

Additionally, Oditto Gallery hosts many charitable events, primarily for animal rescues, and has raised over $25,000 in just two short years . Oditto Gallery has hosted over 76 sold out events and has shaken things up in the art world.
