Daily Inspiration: Meet Tomiris Abdolla

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tomiris Abdolla

Tomiris, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have started acting since i was 5 years old when we live in China. I really liked being on camera and improvised. Local brands in China were interested about my appearance, little Asian girl with curly hair. I was unusual face for them and i started modelling. I was an ambassador of some local brands in China also in Kazakhstan. Then we moved to US, to Miami.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My mom is single with two kids, me and my younger brother Yeskendir. Immigration and adaptation was not easy for all of us. So we can not immediately continue my acting here in USA, but i was very dreamed watching disney/Pixar movies. I was acting at home with my brother and writing some scenes myself. At 11 years old we moved to LA, we are about 7 months here and started everything fresh. My mom helped me and supported me always. She is my manager. First time not everything was going well, but we work hard together with my mom, then i started getting so much work. It was hard, but i loved it so much. Acting is my life and passion. We are new here in US filming industry, but one day i hope i will take a main role in Disney. I just wish it and doing my best. My mom always says dreams come true!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do acting, blogging, and dancing. I enjoy doing my job and being on camera. I love it. I travel a lot. I was filmed in Netflix. I met so many friends on set. Im grateful and proud of how i work hard, and that i always succeed. Im known for being an influencer in social media, being an actress, and a dancer. What sets me apart from others is that im very talented young lady, that im a lider.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson i’ve learned along my journey is that you never give up. You have to accept rejections. You need to work hard. You always have to practice no matter if you’re already talented. I need to try my best. Never be scared of judgment or rejection. I will always achieve my goals if i work hard and keep practicing.
Me and my mom are very close, we are besties. She is my everything. And i wanna thank her for everything she has done for me and doing for me for my future no matter what. She is the only one who’s supporting me and helping me with everything. Because of her today i am an experienced actress and a dancer. I love her so much!
