Today we’d like to introduce you to ingrid pagliarulo.
Hi ingrid, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Among the many things I do, there is one that currently consumes me like a passionate lover. It is a business that I started, almost four years ago, together with Low Pulse Project, and of which I am very proud of.
Since my first trip to Los Angeles I began to collaborate with industry magazines, both Italian and foreign. Therefore I met famous artists and celebrities, which expanded my knowledge of the US market and even helped me develop a global network that today spans several countries.
All this, together with the constant commitment of giving visibility to lesser-known talents, fuels one of the fundamental objectives of the project I work for, that is, spreading culture and giving space to emerging artists from the Mediterranean area.
Why do I do it?
Well, I have experienced the realization of a dream, the same dream that many artists aspire to. From a very young age, I was offered several professional opportunities that I seized on the fly, achieving independence and experimenting art and beauty in all their forms and extensions.
I have never had to look for work because it has always been offered to me.
I have collected a series of exciting professional experiences that range from different roles as a performer as a dancer and theater actress to a professional voice actress, singer-songwriter, talent scout, journalist, author, up to becoming part of the organization of national events and festivals.
My origins certainly play an important role in all this. I am from Napoli, Italy, an ancient city overflowing with history, art and beauty. It is a city that stands between the Vesuvius volcano and the Solfatara super volcano, and under which flow a cold waters that constantly struggles to balance the two fires.
A condition that leads its inhabitants to be usually lively, stubborn and passionate. Contrary to those who fear and therefore avoid emotions, I simply live on emotions.
So that, in my youth, just as I lived with emotions and brought them to life through my performances, today I try to give others the same opportunity that I had.
The full and intense life initially focused on my career as an artist changed course when I founded my own entertainment company. From that moment on I began to take care of other people’s careers.
I become an entrepreneur in Italy, when there were very few women entrepreneurs in the entertainment and tourism sectors. I achieved success thanks to hard work and in total independence, without compromising with anyone and without necessarily having to affiliate with any political movement.
Later, finding myself very often between Italy and California I closed my company and focused on scouting and managing artists, working as a press officer, as an author and TV host of various Italian and foreign projects and using different art forms, also with the aim of spreading the art, culture and customs of Southern Italy and remembering forgotten essential uses and rites.
Finally, the fabulous joint venture with Low Pulse Project, a music production house, independent label and publisher, with which I have been collaborating since 2010, has led to the birth of a very important editorial project, of which I am editor-in-chief and that also allows me to continue spreading my cultural heritage and promoting talents.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road is not smooth at all. It hasn’t been and it still isn’t. However, I accept the challenge and I don’t give up. I have learned to love difficult things. I believe that the most arduous roads give you the greatest satisfaction when you reach a goal!
During my professional career, I have also failed, and sometime this still happens. It is inevitable, but I willingly accept it. I believe it is a free way to learn and improve.
Being fundamentally very creative, I love freedom and I don’t like conditioning, so, as I said before, I always have to rely on my own strengths.
The difficulties today, especially in relation to my business which deals with culture, are in ignorance, in preconceptions, in superficiality due, clearly, to this global system that presents itself as a problem solver, when in reality it complicates things in all aspects.
It is more difficult to deal with robots than with human beings and it is even worse when robots disguise themselves as human beings.
Culture must fight against notionalism; freedom of thought finds itself having to deal with the catechization of a single thought… There are no more nuances and there is no more memory. In short, it takes immense efforts to be able to maintain something continuous in a system where everything, starting from thought, is “disposable”!
In Los Angeles I have experienced greater difficulties during the years of work and collaboration with the Italian community, a time during which I have literally become discouraged to see its immense… “weakness”!
Probably because it is in a condition of complete submission, subjugated and without cultural autonomy.
A large part of those who live in this community are even used to shooting themselves in the foot. They don’t speak Italian, they don’t know the history of our country, they have no heritage other than that filtered by the USA itself, by some private companies and by “groups” or associations. The result is a community whose interest is limited to the business of affiliated companies, to global trends, to clichés, to cronyism and to old age disguised as boy scouts!
Over the years of collaboration and work in the Italian community, I have become aware of the misinformation that circulates about Italian history and culture, so I decided to dedicate myself entirely to debunking false myths about my homeland. By dealing with the dissemination of an immense cultural heritage: the Neapolitan one, which for obvious historical and geographical reasons extends to the entire Mediterranean area, the magazine I direct has become a center of deep interest for readers from all over the world.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Napulitanamente magazine?
It is an editorial project and is called Napulitanamente. “Napulitanamente” as an adverb in Neapolitan language means: “in the Neapolitan way”.
It is also a play on words as “Napulitana-Mente”, that means “Neapolitan mind”.
Since 2020, our wide background experience, the constant work and determination have brought this editorial project to incredible levels, results that we owe to our strengths and to the help of supporters and our loyal readers.
Published by Low Pulse Project, Napulitanamente Magazine is a beacon of creative discovery and a leading publication that starting from the tradition of Neapolitan culture it extends throughout the Mediterranean, becoming a bridge between countries.

Napulitanamente magazine has been defined by from another Los Angeles publication as “A strong voice for Mediterranean artists”.
In particular, Napulitanamente magazine stands out from other publications for a number of reasons:
1. It is a completely independent and free project that fosters a community of creativity and innovation. 2. It presents free online content available in 26 languages. 3. It provides unwavering support to Mediterranean talent as a platform for emerging artists by offering them free promotion on a global scale. 4. In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, Napulitanamente is proudly 300% Eco Friendly, running a website powered by wind energy.
Last year, Napulitanamente presented the collateral project “Mediterranean Cocktail of Art”: a multi-artistic event that featured a large group of exceptional artists from Southern Italy, Iran, Armenia and Peru.
Produced by Low Pulse Project and sponsored by:
Mario Pagliarulo – Rome, IT., Parvafolium – Los Angeles, CA., PA Rehearsal Studios – Reseda, CA., Officina Mirabilis – Naples, IT., Gioia Luisa – Naples, IT., Cenatiempo – Ischia, IT., in its first edition, Mediterranean Cocktail of Art was a great success, demonstrating a powerful sensorial explosion.
Breathtaking paintings, sculptures and photos covered the venue, captivating the audience with their beauty. The atmosphere was also enriched by live music and Neapolitan opera that filled the air, while guests enjoyed the launch of an exclusive drink, NA57, a unique blend celebrating the spirit of Naples, created by SudPlus and Campanica.
This was also an incredible opportunity for sponsors who gained a number of unexpected benefits. Given the great results of the event, we are currently working on organizing its second edition and are already looking for new talents. “Mediterranean Cocktail of Art Edition II” is an opportunity for talented artists with roots in the Mediterranean area to be part of something truly special that will give them a free chance to showcase their talent, gaining visibility in different countries around the world.
It will give them the chance to enrich their connections by networking with a vibrant group of well-known and emerging artists from all over the Mediterranean.
It will allow them to be supported by industry experts who have expert knowledge and can provide guidance. Participating in the selection process costs nothing. Simply send your CV

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Multi-ethnicity is what I love about this city. So the possibility of comparing and interacting with different cultures, when they are not contaminated by the loss of historical memory and stupefied by pseudo-cultural globalization. What do I like least? Well, Los Angeles is an open-air movie set and is very far from how it is advertised. In addition to its terrible pollution, being in a desert area it has been adapted with absurd and unnatural characteristics. Furthermore, it is sadly structured like a military station and art and beauty are definitely missing.
