Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh – How is wish owning a business was a smooth road, but that’s just not reality……LOL

I’ve been in business since 1989 – that’s 28 years of highs and lows!

I think one of my success’s to staying in business this long has been keeping my business fresh, in trend and keep trying to figure out new ways to offer my products and classes.

I attend different conferences/conventions to stay on-top of what is current in my industry. I’m also trying to stay up with technology and what all it can offer a business. New ways or better ways to ship product. Better ways to offer videos and online training.

Please tell us about Artistic Painting Studio.
I’m a decorative painting business – specializing in Stenciling, Faux Finishing, Plasters, furniture and cabinetry finishing. I’ve been a licensed contractor for the past 20 years offering commissioned work – but pretty much retired from this part of the business.

Teaching is my true passion and I’m always trying to figure out new and better ways to offer my classes. Just opened an online membership painting group, where I teach several different techniques each month.

Two of my specialty products that I offer are my decorative rollers and metallic foils. I’m kinda known for the rollers these days. 🙂

I guess I’m most proud of making it for the past 28 years and that my business is growing and I now employee several of my kids (well they are not kids anymore) and it’s turning into a family business!!!

I hope that my fabulous customer service sets me apart from others – we try and always respond as fast as possible – ship out orders the same day and bring unique fabulous products to my customers.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
OMGosh – Most likely spending time with my grandparents during the summer months……best memories of all!!!
