Today we’d like to introduce you to Fred King.

Fred King

Hi Fred, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Well, I’m originally from Eastern Europe, and I made the move to the US in 2009. It was here that I launched MusicSnake, my passion project. After a decade of hard work, MusicSnake evolved into a prominent crypto-entertainment brand, which is quite fulfilling.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Undoubtedly, the majority of my struggles were tied to financial constraints. When embarking on a music project, substantial investments are necessary for production, hiring personnel, and covering various marketing and PR expenses. Sustaining such endeavors for over a decade without immediate returns is not feasible for everyone. In my situation, it took more than 10 years before I began to see tangible profits.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
In terms of my professional pursuits, I’m involved in three main areas:

Firstly, there’s MusicSnake, where I blend hip-hop with crypto themes in my songs. Our financial strategy encompasses touring, appearances at prominent crypto conferences, and integrating advertisements for leading crypto brands into our music videos.

Then there’s CryptoSnake, a distinct venture within the crypto sphere. Here, we focus on producing educational content, such as detailed guides on using crypto products like hardware wallets. Additionally, we collaborate with blockchain companies on advertising initiatives and even co-create unique products, like our ‘Stack Sats’ seed in partnership with Stamp Seed, featuring MusicSnake designs.

Lastly, there’s MS, a music management company dedicated to supporting independent artists.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
From a young age, I harbored a deep passion for two distinct realms: music and technology. I found great fulfillment in nurturing both the creative and analytical sides of my brain. While attending music classes and mastering the violin, I simultaneously delved into the world of tech, eagerly exploring new innovations. During the 90s, I avidly followed developments in Windows releases, fueled by my admiration for Microsoft.

On a personal level, I was a modest individual who endured bullying throughout my youth. Despite the challenges, I maintained a sense of self-reserve, often keeping a distance from my peers. Deep down, I always knew that my path would eventually lead me away from my hometown.
