Hi Fabio, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began at the intersection of mechanical engineering and entrepreneurship when I ventured into the entertainment industry, leveraging virtual reality to captivate the imaginations of children. My travels took me to Eastern Europe, where the seeds of inspiration were sown as I experienced a VR attraction near the Odessa beachfront.

Upon returning to California, I refined that idea into the finest mobile VR company in the United States, creating personalized VR Rooms to infuse events, senior centers, and private parties. As an entrepreneur, my aspiration extended beyond profit – I aimed to empower others to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys, enriching our communities in the process.

Simultaneously, I harnessed my entrepreneurial skills to set HVAC sales records, becoming the top sales leader in California, with over 8 million dollars in sales for 2023. I also took on the role of mentoring technicians, sales teams, and aspiring youth, guiding them toward success in the HVAC industry. In a remarkable streak, I achieved over a million dollars in monthly sales for the past four months, focusing on the transition from gas to electric HVAC equipment to reduce carbon emissions in the residential and commercial sectors.

Grounded in a deep belief in sustainability and permaculture, my journey has harmoniously united my engineering expertise and entrepreneurial spirit across both the entertainment and HVAC realms.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As an immigrant, the scarcity of readily available resources forced me to tap into my creativity to fund my entrepreneurial journey when I embarked on the VR business. Making the bold decision to transition from a stable income job to the unpredictable world of entrepreneurship is never easy, but I summoned the courage to chase my dreams.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, it brought my VR business, Vertigo Attractions and Parties, to a complete standstill, leaving me burdened with significant debt. However, I not only managed to pay off that debt but also extracted valuable lessons from the experience.

My company, Vertigo Attractions and Parties, has been a longstanding presence in the Los Angeles area, specializing in providing mobile VR entertainment for a variety of events and private parties. We’ve made a remarkable impact by bringing VR to seniors at a Hollywood Senior Center, creating heartwarming moments and instilling newfound joy and purpose. Our mobile VR Rooms have also wowed audiences at religious celebrations, corporate events, private gatherings, and community festivals. Currently, we’re rebranding and have exciting plans for the future, including potential partnerships with museums and art institutions to introduce our unique VR Rooms, aiming to play a bigger role in the artistic community.

My career in the HVAC industry began as a comfort advisor and has progressed into a sales leadership role. I’ve provided solutions to over 6,500 clients in Southern California, designing and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial markets. I prioritize energy efficiency and address potential HVAC-related health concerns in my designs.

In addition to my technical work, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring over a hundred HVAC technicians and sales professionals, sharing my experiences and problem-solving strategies. I consistently break sales records, achieving an annual sales volume exceeding $8 million in HVAC solutions in Southern California. This highlights my dedication to delivering high-quality HVAC solutions to our clients in the region.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to you is rooted in personal experience. First, the combination of vision boards, unwavering discipline, and conquering challenging battles, such as surviving cancer, has deepened my appreciation for the rewards of hard work and the tangible results it can yield.

Second, navigating through trying financial and health circumstances has provided me with a profound sense of perspective, where overcoming each challenge is viewed as a blessing, emphasizing the importance of resilience in the face of adversity.

Third, I encourage you to dream big and set your goals higher than you can currently imagine, but resist the urge to overthink. This approach allows for innovation and the pursuit of remarkable achievements without unnecessary hesitation.
