Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being creative it takes multiple jobs or streams of income to create your art. My career as a mental health advocate and therapist helps with understanding my writing and rejection and learning how to make my door and walk through.

It’s a struggle to make anything worth value to you. So, why not do something that brings you joy and can help someone in need? In addition to entertaining an audience that promotes healing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I worked on several independent productions and produced projects under my company Oct. 14 Entertainment. My current short film Lonely Girl is wrapping up almost a year in film Festivals with an impressive four(4) award wins, finalists, and official selections. Another project, A Familiar Face- Short Film- currently in post-production, is about redemption, forgiveness, and family. So, I’m excited about these projects, which I directed, written, and produced. In addition to, a short animation film and two feature films are currently in the development(writing) stage.

I also produced several community theatre productions, including Interlude to Sentimental Me, my second poetry collection. I converted 18 poems into dialogue and characters and developed a stage show. I’ve also written a children’s book, Hey Charlie, You’re Next, about learning self-esteem and standing up for yourself—just a few highlights of the projects I adore thus far.
