We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It isn’t that smooth working in entertainment on both coasts. After more than a decade in this industry, I am often told “No,” multiple times despite the amount of success I have also had. Some think it is all peaches & cream once you get to a certain level in your career, but often that isn’t the case.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a TV Host/Entertainment & Lifestyle Expert. I am known for being completely authentic and real on and off air. When I am in front of the camera, I don’t try to be like anyone else, I don’t try to “sound” newscastery (is that a word?), I am me through and through. As a lifestyle and entertainment expert, I like to give tips and ideas on what consumers/viewers can buy to simplify their life.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Lots of my work in broadcast has shifted into social media. With people getting rid of cable, there is a major shift into getting information solely by the phone in their hands. However, I DO think TV will be around for a long time including broadcast news/cable as so many of us still rely on high quality, produced, well thought out, professionally driven content, especially from news.
