Conversations with Aspect Zavi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aspect Zavi.

Hi Aspect Zavi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Zavi! I was born on the Southside of Chicago and raised in Dallas, TX, but I’ve lived in almost every state there is so I am very culturally diverse. My ethnic background Is Nigerian and I belong to a tribe called “Ka Oh Da.”

I started off doing social media for fun and testing out applications such as Vine, TikTok and Instagram in Beta testing mode. I was one of the 1st 5 users to ever create an Instagram or TikTok (which used to be Musically). I blew up as a dancer before converting my following to love me for my music upon recently moving to LA. My highest-viewed dance video today has 11 million views and collectively sees between 15-30 million impressions per week. My music has no range or specific genre and I do not write any of it down. I have worked with some of the biggest artists in the world and have been co-signed by celebrities such as Mary J. Blige, Paris Hilton, Lil’ Uzi Vert and many more.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In 2023, I am on the road to becoming the biggest artist in the world, but it has not been easy at all. Some of the biggest extreme adversities that I’ve faced have included losing friends and family members, keeping up with and adjusting to the ever-changing algorithms online, and the “no’s” that I have received in transitioning from one area in entertainment to another.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a singer, rapper, writer, dancer, musician, content creator, influencer, business owner, father, and much more.

What sets me apart from others is that at only 25 years old, I’ve already spent 15 years in the entertainment industry, but I am still a student and have a huge love for an innate ability to continue learning.

Also, I have made it my goal and personal lifestyle to exude only positive energy. I always make it a point to brighten any room I walk into and radiate love and light through each one, something which I believe is rare to find in such a demanding and diverse industry.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Make sure that you know what you’re doing, be knowledgeable in what you’re trying to accomplish, and establish business acumen before you get started. It’s very important to also be disciplined, consistent and stay away from everything that could distract you from your purpose.
