Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Walker.
Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born and raised in a small town in New Jersey called Livingston. I always knew I wanted to be a big star. As a child, my aunt would always ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up also growing up with the knowledge of God. I asked God what my purpose was as a child. I modeled and did a bout of acting as a child. Being so close to New York I grew up attending fashion weeks and pursuing modeling and acting. I did my first music video at 18. Wanting to fully immerse myself in entertainment and make it big I moved to from NJ to Atl in October 2018. I moved to Atl because I heard it was the “black Hollywood” and a lot of filming is done in Atl. I did some feature work on BET “the quad” and being a featured body paint model for the 1 year anniversary for Escobar, a restaurant owned by 2 Chainz. Eager to be in Los Angeles I packed my car in the middle of the night and drove to la in only two days. I contacted my aunt and stayed with her for a few months. My aunt had some acting experience and gave me pointers, leading me the way. I started with extra work. I didn’t star on my first reality show until 2020 during quarantine. One mo chance on the Zeus network all while also going viral on TikTok. I became a full-time influencer and model doing music videos for the biggest rappers out and doing promos on Instagram and TikTok. 2022 I starred in my second reality show ‘The Real Sidechicks of La’ on the Fubu network. That airs January 2023. I’ve also been doing scripted television as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has not been a smooth road at all! Being out in la by myself and figuring it all out on my own is not easy but I figure it out. I lean on God and prayer often. I actually got baptized when I first moved to la in July 2019 being that my aunt is a very strong believer and I was staying with her at the moment. The financial hardship and lack of intimacy I’ve experienced out here I just keep faith that tomorrow will be a brighter day. I pray for financial stability and my own husband and kids. I want a happy family and a successful career in the future. I would like a big breakout role within the year. A role that is inspiring to the world and can change my life for the better.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a model, influencer, and actress. I like social media. I think it’s a fun platform to express myself and create. I’ve seen social media open a lot of big doors for many stars. I’ve modeled for Fubu, Ethika, Rock the bells. Many people know me from one mo chance, that definitely made me famous. I’ve been in music videos for Future, lil durk, fabulous, moneybag yo, h.e.r, cordae, ray j, Soulja Boy, maino, uncle murda, Trevor Jackson, yg’s sneakers commercial, and many more. I think what sets me apart from the rest is my motive comes from God. God gave me a purpose in entertainment which is a deeper confidence that no one can take away. I personally feel like my purpose is to heal but my story isn’t over yet so only God knows why I’m meant to be a person of influence. My current niche is love and blessings. I try to stay positive and humorous. I’m most proud of my role on reality television. I think it’s important to be positive despite the negative environment. I just try to reveal that I don’t have to be a product of my environment. I can make better choices even if everyone is against me or that which I stand for. If I can so can you. You don’t have to be a product of your environment. You don’t have to be violent, angry, etc.
How do you think about luck?
One Mo chance on the Zeus network was a breakout role for me. To start on my first television show while the world was on lockdown was a blessing. It opened many doors for me. I got to model full time which was a dream of mine when I set out to LA. Meeting all the celebrities that watched me on tv was an eye-opening moment for sure.
