Rising Stars: Meet Jennifer Sayre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Sayre.

Hi Jennifer, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started playing with Resin in 2019. My salon was shut down due to the pandemic and I had no clue what to do with myself. I saw a beautiful resin geode picture on Pinterest and decided I wanted to try to make my own. I became obsessed with creating resin pieces as soon as I started.

It’s really blossomed into something beautiful. I am a certified crystal healer and started adding crystals with intention to my pieces. I’m inspired by nature and very drawn to the ocean. My favorite things to create are crystal moons, surfboards, mountains and large-scale pieces.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly – it has been smooth for the art aspect. I’ve heard of people having a hard time figuring out resin and I just never did. It definitely came very naturally for me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I make healing crystal art. I really love and prefer meeting the buyer and creating custom pieces based on what the are needing healing from. If you are looking for love I’ll use rose quartz, sobriety- amethyst, money- pyrite, etc.

I don’t have one specific piece I am most proud of. I do have a large 8ft X4ft mountain scape FULL of crystals I really love. I have painted my first wall mural in Redondo beach that I am extremely proud of. I love all of the custom creations as well.

I think what sets me apart is that nothing I do is the same. Each piece is different colors, shapes, sizes, etc. Also that I paint with intention and love to add love, sparkle and magic to each piece 😉

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Treating everyone with compassion, understanding and love. I am truly grateful for each person who purchases from me and want them to feel that.
