Community Highlights: Meet Michael & Gina Holzer of SoCal Soccer Party

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael & Gina Holzer. Them and their team share their story with us below:

SoCal Soccer Party is the first full-service soccer party & event company specializing in soccer-themed birthday parties, soccer camps, events, & soccer entertainment based in Southern California. Started by Michael & Gina Holzer, husband and wife team. Together, we host soccer-themed parties and events.

We throw many soccer camps in Southern California throughout the year, which are known for being highly rated with sold-out lists, celebrity and repeat clients.

Michael is an experienced soccer coach well known for his work throughout Southern California and around the country. He trains professional players, national team players, celebrities, college players, and youth players of all ages and levels.

Growing up in Germany, Michael looked forward to his birthday party every year – not because of presents or cake, but because of soccer. Each of his birthdays involved hours of soccer playing with friends and family, which created his fondest childhood memories.

Gina is known for her unique, creative inspirations. She’s planned all kinds of events from birthdays to baby showers and has done interior design projects for friends & family.

Together, Michael’s soccer expertise and Gina’s creative knack combine to create unique and fun soccer experiences.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While starting a business isn’t easy, this wasn’t our first business so the process of launching was quite smooth. The concept of having a soccer birthday or themed event wasn’t common. We were the first to fully cater to this niche and have shown people that throwing a soccer party can be fun, unique, and glamorous. Soccer is growing more popular in the USA, and we’ve seen the demand for soccer events grow as well.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets SoCal Soccer Party apart from others is that we have years of experience in throwing soccer events and camps – including the design aspect! Others who offer soccer parties are either only the coach with experience coaching individuals or small groups, or they only rent the facility.

Michael has almost a decade of experience playing and coaching at all levels, including individuals, groups, and teams, and also directed several soccer clubs. He’s accustomed to dealing with hundreds of players at once. Gina has experience in design and event planning, which goes hand in hand with our soccer parties and events. We both have experience dealing with onwards of 100 players at once with our soccer camps.
